Title : Ultra Flesh (1980)

Overview
She comes to Earth on a quest of love. In a bleak future world, the earth's male population has been rendered impotent by space aliens bent on conquering the world. Things begin to look up for the earthlings when an intergalactic council dispatches sultry space vixen Ultra Flesh a vixen from another world who leads a space legion of 26 Fleshettes to earth to foil the plan and re-energize the world's male populace. A science fiction sextravaganza sextraordinaire.

My Impression
Since I ain't the biggest fan of Seka I was not in a hurry to watch this, but since I don't own a lot of movie who start with an U that I've not already reviewed here my choices were limited. So my expectations were not really high...

The film itself is a funny science fiction one (I would have prefered to watch Star Babe that I've found friday, but not too many U in this title) with some good performance (Jamie Gillis, Tyler Reynolds, John Seeman and Lisa De Leeuw). But what had really made this a funny watching time for me is Luis De Jesus (if the name sound familliar it's because he was the star of Bloodsucking Freaks). He act in a complete crazy way, even more that he was in Bloodsucking Freaks and we have the pleasure of seeing him get in the action in this film with Lisa De Leeuw ( :hmmmm:).

Better than expected, but a sure waste of good looking actress...

Title : The Virgin and the Lover (1973)

Overview
Eric Edwards stars in the psychologically driven tale of a man trapped inside his own sexual fantasy world. It seems that he's only ever fallen for one woman, a gal who died in a tragic car crash years before. Now, Eric lives with a mannequin that he's dressed up in her old clothes and has vivid dreams about the dummy coming to life and trysting with him. He ends up at the office of a psychiatrist whose delectable young secretary just happens to think he's dreamy. This is early porn at its most complex and ambitious, taking a long, hard look at modern relationships even while serving up a series of white-hot sex scenes. They don't make 'em like this anymore -- artsy, moody and scorchingly erotic.

My Impression
What a nice surprise this one was... A really complicated love story who feels much more like a mainstream 70's movie than an adult film. In fact the sex scenes doesn't seem necessary at all (particullary the threesome between Marc Stevens, Julia Sorel and Helen Madigan) and look like they were add to the film later. Even more the only scene that I've really enjoyed are the fake one, they were looking more natural and erotic to me. Clearly here the acting of the main characters (Eric Edwards and Leah Marlon) and the good adaptation of an old French novel written by an anonymous author are the strong points. This is probably a film that would be more appreciated by the feminine audience than the masculine one (even if I've really appreciated it) and I will make sure to not forget to include it in my next shipment for one of the member here (even if I haven't received any reviews for the previous ones :P).

I'm sure that I've seen Leah Marlon in something more mainstream, but since she had obviously used an alias no database can't help me. Maybe one of you can recognize her?

Title : Wicked Schoolgirls (1981)

My Impression
No synopsis for this one, but the film is about photo blackmailing and schoolgirls sex (don't worry no one is underage here). While I was watching the thing in my mind was that this movie is incomplete, even if it seems that my copy running time and the IAFD time are the same. This is an Avon productions and as you could remember from their previous I've reviewed they are usually quite rough and violent, but it isn't the case here, in fact when some rough stuff seem to happen the movie switch to something else. Of course I understand that it isn't Phil Prince or Joe Davian who had directed this film, but Carter Stevens.

The film itself is a fun watch with a good soundtrack and a good theme in general. Even if the acting isn't really good, the story is confusing and deceiving as an Avon production (except from some water sport there nothing unusual here).

It looks like I haven't like it, but the day it will be officially release by After Hour Cinema as a part of their Carter Stevens Director Serie I will buy it. Why? Because I'm certain that this film is incomplete and I don't care what IMDB or IAFD can say about this.

Title : Sex in the Comics (1973)

Overview
Your favorite comic strips come to life and we do mean come in one hilariously erotic scene after another! You'll never see this kind of action in the Sunday papers!

My Impression
This used the premisses of the old Tijuana Bible cartoons (they were illegal used of cartoons characters like Betsy Boop, Popeye or Dick Tracy on 8 pages pornographic comics between 1910 and 1960). Since this is about comics the effects are cartoony (is it a word?)

Do I need to say that it's kind of weird to see an actor with this make-up and a prosthetic penis doing the act in a drawing background

The movie is overacted, but it goes well with the theme of this movie (by the way the overacting is volontary). Of course everyone used a false name, but it was easy to recognize some of the early actors of this genre like Angela Carnon (she's the journalist and her role doesn't involve hardcore sex), Nina Fause, Cyndee Summers, Rick Cassidy, Keith Erickson, Rick Lutze and some others that I can't place a name on.

Evidently with this genre of novelty movie it get repetitive fast and I was checking the time often to see when it will end. Not something that I will rewatch, but it's an important historic piece of the genre.

Title : The Young Like It Hot (1983)

Overview
An adult classic! When the operators at a small phone company get replaced by computers, they set out to show that there are some services a machine just can't give. They reach out and touch their customers in the best way they know how. These gals really know how to operate, so go ahead and dial E for Erotic action at its hottest. This film was the first appearance of gorgeous Hyapatia Lee.

My Impression
Better than average 80's movie, of course the fact it wasn't shoot on tape contribute a lot to this. Even if this movie had the same problem than many others of this period (too sex heavy)1, we don't get the impression that it's completely gratuitious. In fact many of those scenes are erotic and short, good thing since nothing bore me more than a 20 minutes where all the position are used in a mechanical way. The acting for the most part is good, evidently Shauna Grant wasn't the better actress (in fact she is a crappy one) but she was so beautifull and innocent looking that I can forgive her lack of talent. Anyway Eric Edwards, Hyapatia Lee, Kay Parker and Ray Wells compensate amply for that. The story is fun also and show the service was better when it was real person working at desk help and not NFBSK computer.

Honestly tell me she wasn't beautifull

1. I know it's hard to believe but the first reason why I like those films is that I appeciated film who had sex in them for a reason.

Title : Diary of a Schizo (1972)

Overview
Rene Bond plays an inhibited housewife trapped in a sexless marriage to an old coot (Keith Erickson). She begins having trippy erotic dreams. A narrator wanders into the frame and explains to us that she is suffering from a disease called "Sex-o-phrenia" ("One of the oldest maladies." he says.)

Pretty soon. Rene is clutching her head, contorting her face and becoming sex-crazed. ("Her alter-ego is trying to break through!")

What all this means is lots of naked foolery, including a funny moment when she climbs on her horrified hubby and starts sucking his ham. ("You gutter slut! I will pray for your soul!")

My Impression
Nothing special or particularly interesting for a casual viewer in this film, since it's an early production in the genre. So it isn't yet a real movie with good production value, but it's a step ahead from the loops feature. The print isn't really well preserved and the sound isn't very audible and mostly out of sync. But it isn't a waste of time since the movie star is Rene Bond, one of earliest star of the genre who had appeared in many drive-in, sexploitation and, of course, adult productions.

It's over for this year ;D

It was certainly more fun to do this one than the horror marathon in october. Of course the fact that I've watched only movies in my favorite genre had contributed a lot to my enjoyement.

Hope that I haven't bored you too much with my raving about those films that most people doesn't consider as film (too bad for them, they don't know what they miss).

After those 2 months where I've reviewed everything watched, I think I'm due for a break. Since I don't want to annoy you with adult movies review and I must continue to decrease the number of my unwatched movie (I've always more than 300 adult films not watch who want to be seen).

I don't write those overview most of the time, but some of them are really funny to read. The one from SWV are the greatest for that...
