I did however enjoy Casey trying to be a normal member of society.

But even that doesn't really add up. I bet Casey has many friends who would hire him as a private mercenary or working in a security firm. It's the job Casey was born for. Neverever would he stay at the Buy More just because the NSA kicked him out.

LOST 6x09 Ab Aeterno
When I read the year I was a tiny bit disappointed: 1867. I always imagined that the Black Rock was from the 17th or even 16th century. But he's barely 160 years old!
And does this mean that the island was once in the Atlantic? We know the island can be moved but it was never established how far. But if the Black Rock sailed from Tenerife and wanted to get to America it hardly ended up somewhere in the Pacific (where it would have to be to "allow" a plane crashing on it that flew from Australia to L.A.).
This episode gave me not so much answers but more confirmations of theories. And that's what worries me now. What if there's no surprise anymore? There are so many theories about the island out there someone was bound to have the right idea. What if I already read the solution without knowing it?
I hope there are still one or two surprises on the road now that we've reached the halftime of this final season.

The Big Bang Theory 3x18 The Pants Alternative
So great. "Sheldonopulous." "It's only one colour!" "For you - no charge." "Dark side of the moon." They should make Sheldon an alcoholic. ;)

How I Met Your Mother 5x18 Say Cheese
This episode had the disadvantage of me watching it right after TBBT and them having a fight. But I still enjoyed how Robin tried to make a bad photo of Barney.

Two and a Half Men 7x18 Ixnay on the Oggie Day
Tricia Helfer or Jennifer Taylor? I know I couldn't decide between them. ;)
But I have decided that I don't need Charlie and Chelsea together as long as she drops in regularly.

Cougar Town 1x18 Turn This Car Around
Cool inverse intervention. Great (literally) dog. I'd love to see more Travis (the son, not the dog - OK the dog, too); when he's older he could become a Colonel and travel through Stargates - he has the sense of humour to pull it off.

Human Target 1x09 Corner Man
This show has an unsteady quality. One week you can totally enjoy the (ridiculous) story and another it just purls slowly down to the valley. They tried to bring an emotional depth to the characters I am simply not interested in. Who cares what Chris's backstory is as long as he kicks ass?

The Vampire Diaries 1x15 A Few Good Men
"I binged it." - It's funny how they try to product-place Microsoft's search engine. ;)
I like all these twists the story is having but maybe it would have been better if they had given the show a different name. "Diary" always sounds girly to me but despite the inevitable romance there's more to this show than what the name makes it sound like. But then again, who names a show Buffy the Vampire Slayer?!

Supernatural 5x15 Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid
"Awesome. Another Horseman. Must be Thursday." Cool reference within a reference. ;) (Thursday is of course the day Supernatural airs but it's also a wink to the following line: "Dawn's in trouble. Must be Tuesday." (Buffy's musical episode Once More With Feeling).
Nice to see Bobby again and he even looked decent. ;) The episode was OK, but nothing special. I just hope that it was the cue for Bobby having a bigger role again.

Funny side note: On LOST this man (Titus Welliver) was Smokey before he looked like Locke. On Supernatural he's one of the Four Horsemen, namely War:

This is LOST's Jacob (Mark Pellegrino), but on Supernatural he's Lucifer himself:

Coincidence? :baffled:

Justified 1x01 / 1x02 Fire in the Hole / Riverbrook
It looked fairly interesting. Timothy Olyphant certainly can wear that kind of hat. I have to watch a few more episodes to make up my mind but I'm not disinclined to continue watching.

FlashForward 1x13 Blowback
What happened this week? Ah, yes. Sadbeard's daughter was kidnapped. And something with self-recognition in a mirror. I believe that was it.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand 1x10 Party Favors
They all must have an inherent death wish.  Last week it was Batiatus, this week Ilithyia. Must be a masochistic trait to cross a man who does brutal killing for a living.
But I am also sad that Blondie is gone, he was fun to have around.

Castle 2x18 Boom!
And saved by the bathtub she was. ;) I really liked the conclusion of that story. Too bad they had to remove all these gadgets. ;)
The bathroom scene was especially hilarious. "You're naked!" - "Castle, turn around!" - "You know, your apartment is on fire, maybe not the best time for modesty." ;D

Chuck 3x12 Chuck Versus the American Hero
That was finally a good Chuck episode again. The perfect mixture of humour and earnestness. And most of the characters were in it, too!
And Mark A. Sheppard is again the bad guy! That guy seriously needs his own show, I'd watch it.

Doctor Who 5x01 The Eleventh Hour
Ironically the first thing I noticed about the new series was that the TARDIS doors opened outwards which I can't remember the ever doing before. The plot seemed pretty straight-forward, I can't say there were any surprises for me (e.g. that the Doctor isn't the most punctual man has been proven time and time again [e.g. when he brought Rose home for the first time in Aliens of London; The Girl in the Fireplace]; that he challenges his enemies to look him up [e.g. Forest of the Dead]).
Even the threat that silence is descending isn't a surprise - they need a plot for the season finale.
But I like both characters so far - i.e. I'm willing to give them a chance -, I'm just wondering if we will see any of the old characters ever again (With the exception of Professor River Song who was in the series preview).

Actually this was my first ever episode of Doctor Who that I watched "live".

Chuck 3x13 Chuck vs. the Other Guy
While this was a very good episode it still felt a bit rushed. Shaw either knew this about his wife a while - which would explain his sometimes creepy looks throughout the season, but then it wouldn't explain his outburst when he saw the footage; or he decided to switch sides after he saw it - which then would be very rushed.
Also some things were very sledge-hammer-y like the constant nods towards the security cam.
But everything considered I really liked how it played out and just hope that we can now return to Fun-Chuck & Ass-Kicking-Sarah for the rest of the season.

I also liked the Firefly class reunion of Badger and Jayne:

Castle 2x19 Wrapped Up in Death
I loved it how Beckett fooled Castle (it had to be her ;)) and how he tried to get rid of the curse of the mummy. ;D
Otherwise I thought there was a bit too much "coincidence" in this episode. The mummy of "servant girl #6" is the girl that was murdered and this is the mummy they choose to (illegally) sell into private hands? Talk about bad luck...

Bones 5x15 The Bones on a Blue Line
It actually explains a lot. I always wondered how Bones would manage to write a thrilling novel and include personality traits in her characters that are so obviously alien to her. I also loved the entire talk about "that thing he does on page 187" and also how the actual persons are not the characters in the book.
But if all the personal stuff is from Angela that would mean she invented the scene where Amanda had sex with Agent Andy. Is there something we should know about?

Bones 5x16 The Parts in the Sum of the Whole
It certainly was an interesting episode but the end was a bit disappointing. They drag out the usual will they/won't they plot but I can totally understand Booth's POV that he won't wait forever. He took a leap of faith and suddenly there was just air below his feet.

Even though it had a nice touch bringing Caroline Julian and Camille into this episode, it still is a plothole. When Caroline was introduced in 1x19 The Man in the Morgue, Booth introduces her to Bones. While Caroline may have forgotten Bones (she even says so in this episode), I doubt Brennan would have forgotten.
Also when Camille and Bones meet in 2x01 The Titan on the Track both explicitly state that they have never met before.
Both from the 1x19 and 2x01 point of view the events in 5x16 took place only about two years before.

Now I'm going to watch the pilot again...

Doctor Who 5x02 The Beast Below
That was a really cool new episode and I always like it when the Doctor is pissed at the Humans because they did something terrible because that proves even though he loves them he shows no favouritsm towards them.
I also loved how Moffat caricatured the voting process of most western democracies (vote and forget for the next years...) because there was a whole lot of truth in it.

10 Things I Hate About You 1x11 / 1x12 Da Repercussions / Don't Trust Me
With this the second half of the first season has begun and the show is as quirky as ever. And I still love it.

Cougar Town 1x19 Everything Man
It was an OK episode but it was a bit too much about Jules. I know she's the main character but the episodes are often funnier when it's more balanced between all these characters. I especially think all the men are funnier than the women on this show.

FlashForward 1x14 Better Angels
I've been rarely so bored. I seriously start to wonder if I should even bother watching this show until it's season (series?) finale.
The only note-worthy thing about this episode was that the CIA once again managed to destroy the hope for peace on the African continent...

And while I'm writing this I've discovered that this was last week's episode and there's already another in the pipe. Oh boy.

Gossip Girl 3x16 The Empire Strikes Jack
Why does Jenny always have this undeserved luck? She's a real Karma Houdini, that one. Why do the writers do that? Or do they intend to bring her house down in an apocalyptic fashion?

Gossip Girl 3x17 Inglourious Bassterds
What's up with the Bass family? Must be genetics. And why do the writers destroy all the progress Chuck's made? Just for the sake of the drama? That's lame...
And Jenny starts her next mess. Is it possible that she is genetically not a Humphrey?
I also love the development that Vanessa is applying for the same writing program Dan is without telling him. Imagine all the drama when she gets accepted and he doesn't (for whatever reasons)...

And now I'm off fighting my way through this week's FlashForward.

FlashForward 1x15 Queen Sacrifice
Slightly better than the previous episode but the main problem with the show is: I don't care why the bad guys do what they do, I don't even try to find out what the master plan, the grand scheme of things is. I couldn't be bothered to put that much effort into the show.
As for the mole: I've watched to many years of 24 to be surprised by anything anymore.

The Big Bang Theory 3x19 The Wheaton Recurrence
Didn't they have the "I love you." - "Thank you." joke on last year's Two and a Half Men (another Chuck Lorre production)?
But first to the Wheaton part: I enjoyed him being back and once again triumphant over Sheldon. They can keep this up if it were for me.
Now to Leonard & Penny: I smell break-up. But the problem is that it wouldn't feel organic if they did. Penny and Leonard had the most normal intimate relationship in all TV shows over the last few years. They got together and then they just were. No obstacles, no real complications - most often their relationship wasn't even a real topic in the episode. And suddenly Penny gets cold feet. Maybe they decide that they need a break. Then Leonard sleeps with another woman, Penny doesn't forgive him and five years later she has a baby with him and in the end she wants to move to Paris and ... oh hold on there. That was another couple...

That is what I'm afraid is starting..that it is going to be all this back and forth nonsense like was done with Ross and Rachel.  That got me to stop watching Friends for long periods of time.  I'm not happy about what has happened...especially since Penny let Wheaton get into her head.  I'm just hoping it is fixed, sooner rather than later.  I agree with you..they had a nice, normal relationship without all the drama and nonsense that usually happens.

It wasn't fair to Leonard. What guy wouldn't fall in love with someone who looks like penny (shallow of me, I know) AND can not only quote Yoda but do it in the perfect context AND know what movie it is from.  :stars: Of course Leonard lost it and said he loved her.

I agree, the "Thank you" reply was pretty lame. It was one of the better episodes I've seen lately though.
