I enjoyed Jack as well. Not sure about a young Joker that's made to look grubby.

Magnificent! I can't wait for this film. Jack and Cesar had their day and were perfect for the type of Batman they were in. This is a scarred maniac that suits the mood perfectly. Grubby is just right!

Agree. In fact as good as they both were you couldn't put one in the other's place. They did fit 'their' Batmans quite well

I guess we'll see. I hope you're right. I'm willing to keep an open mind about it. I usually don't get too tweaked about the details on movies. As long as it entertains me, I'm happy

I like the approach they are taking with the new Batman movies being more gritty and real. The tools more practical, and closer to what they might be, if they were designed in real life for actual use, instead of just flashy props.

I am trying to keep an open mind to the changes... I know I enjoyed Batman Begins... so even though it is not what I had pictured in my mind... I am not too concerned yet.

Warner Bros. has put up the official site (with no content yet) but it links to another site... So, it seems Harvey Dent is in it too (played by Aaron Eckhardt; which you could obviously also see by checking the Cast list at IMDb); Two-Face had always been one of my favorite villains in the comic.

This is really promising to me now I've heard The Joker. Somehow, Heath Ledger has captured exactly how he sounded to me when I read the comics. Cesar and Jack were always good impressions for me; I don't want that to sound disparaging because they were excellent interpretations and that's all anyone has a right to expect when books and comics get adapted. But with the added bonus of character development through the screwed up make-up, Ledger could actually be The Joker...
