Holy Cow!

In a surprising turn of events Chicago was the 1st city voted out in the final 4 cities. Watching it live on BBC News. The scroll at the bottom had Chicago as the favorite. They certainly were expected to make it past the 1st round!

Good Luck to whatever city wins. (My vote would be for Rio)

I think Rio's going to get it as well.

Kind of embarrassing to get eliminated in the first round with all of the Big O's in attendance.  :whistle:

That would be correct! Going to be quite a decade for them. They are hosting the World Cup in 2014 and now the Olympics in 2016. Congrats to them!

Some of the headlines I saw today regarding that were pretty funny. I'll refrain from commenting specifically though, don't want this to get political :-X

This isn't necessarily a bad thing as any French Canadian could tell... we pay for the one at Montreal since 76. I was so glad when Quebec didn't get the winter one in 2002, one to pay is enough for me ::)
