Crush Movies
« on: July 30, 2009, 08:09:53 PM »
I have to admit, sometimes I buy movies, just too see a certain female actress again. Often I don't know anything about the movie, I simply hack her name into amazon and buy what's offered me. And sometimes I buy it even when I know the movie is not really good, just too see her again. ;) But sometimes you discover a good movie you otherwise wouldn't have noticed.

Currently I am on a Kristen Bell crush.  :drooling: Unfortunately she hasn't that many movies yet.  :-[

Movies I bought on the sole knowledge that she stars in it:

Reese Witherspoon:
Legally Blonde 2
Cruel Intentions (also with Sarah Michelle Gellar)
Just Like Heaven
Rendition
Election
Sweet Home Alabama

Kirsten Dunst:
Bring It On
Elizabethtown
Monal Lisa Smile (Julia Stiles also stars in it)
Strike!

Alicia Silverstone:
Clueless

Jennifer Aniston:
Derailed
Along Came Polly
The Good Girl
The Break-Up
Rumor has it...

Hayden Panettierre:
Bring It On: All or Nothing

Kristen Bell:
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Gossip Girl (I bought that even in the knowledge that she has only a voice cast as GG)

One can assume I have a crush on blonde cheerleaders ;D

But I can't talk... I am the same way. For me it is Holly Marie Combs (Piper on Charmed), Sandra Bullock, Eliza Dushku..... hell it is a never ending list actually... I seem to find a TV Show I like and end up seeing some girl from that show that I like!  :P

I've always had a thing for Maureen O'Hara...hey, no one said we had to mention actresses on the lower side of 30, did we?  I also like Katharine Hepburn, especially her earlier films of the 1930s and 1940s.  And I like Jodie Foster, I don't care what anyone else says...  ;D

I also like Reese Witherspoon a lot and I loved her in Pleasantville.  I see someone mentioned Julia Roberts...I actually had a dream once that I was married to her which was weird, because I never dream of celebrities...  :P
