Alien will more than likely be a prequel and I guess you're referring to Predators by Robert Rodriguez, which I think looks like a fantastic idea; would be what Aliens is to Alien. Robocop could have been interesting because it was Darren Aronofsky, but I think it's fallen through now. But with all those possibilities listed as totally uncalled for, you could find love for a Halloween retread? Urgh. Gone in 60 Seconds is a close call. The original is awful, but has more power in it's last half-hour than the tepid new one could muster.

Add to the list Streethawk, Beauty and the Beast and Whiz Kids. No-one ever remembers Whiz Kids, and I only do vaguely, but it had an impression on me for a good reason.But most of all, The Good Life. C'mon, we all want to know if Tom and Barbara made it in a world of self-sufficiency. And it could be poignant seeing Margot on her own...
