Has anyone watched this? Is it any good? Somewhat comparable to Alias?

Alias was one of my guilty pleasure shows, which had just enough energy and craziness to make it entertaining. I watched it till the end, unlike 24, which (to me) got boring after two seasons.

So given that context, should I give Burn Notice a try?

I don't think it's in any way comparable with Alias (or 24 in that matter).

It's more along the lines of MacGuyver, Stingray, Knight Rider. Meaning a man helps people with troubles the normal law can't or won't handle and he takes very little (or no) money for it.

Check out my blog entry for this: http://doena-journal.net/tag/burn-notice (german)

Ah thanks. That's a type of show I really don't care for. Well, with one exception maybe: If Vengeance Unlimited (with Michael Madsen) ever gets a DVD release, I will probably buy it.

I bought the first series on dvd and watched it back to back one weekend.

I really enjoyed it as it made a big change from the usual series I watch.
