The Time Traveler's Wife

A Chicago librarian suffers from a rare genetic disorder that sends him hurtling through time whenever he is under extreme duress; despite the fact that he vanishes at inordinately frequent and lengthy intervals, he attempts to build a stable future with the beautiful young heiress he loves. Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams star in this dramatic fantasy, which is directed by Robert Schwentke and based on the best-selling book by author Audrey Niffenegger.

Read and enjoyed the book. Only saw two critic's review, neither were favorable. I, however, enjoyed this movie. There was some character development elements left out along with one plot element involving Henry and his work. These ommissions did not affect the overall movie. There was one plot element involving the purchase of a house that I don't remember in the book, but it has been a while since I've read the book.

Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams gave good performances in the understated romantic drama with a Sci-Fi twist. I have placed this title on my wish-list.

I've seen the trailer for this one and it surprisingly pick my interest. Not the genre of movie I watch usually (that looks like a woman film ), but this is one of the few movies made this year that I'll plan to buy when it will be released (even if I will probably find it boring).
