I will keep it in mind... but will probably wait till I see these two and see how I like them. I never bothered with the first one before... as I never been much of an Ashton Kutcher fan. But I ended up liking him in Guess Who... so maybe it is time to give him another chance. :P

Well... she managed to get one more in the box for me. From what I understand it was way up high on the shelf... almost up to the ceiling... but she did some acrobatics (and as she said her groin will never be the same  :-[) But she is now also sending me...

Elf
One Christmas Eve long ago, an orphan baby crawled into Santa's bag of gifts and was taken to the North Pole. Raised by Papa Elf (Bob Newhart), Buddy (Will Ferrell) comes to realize he doesn’t fit in with the other elves. Determined to find a place where he belongs, Buddy searches for his real dad - in New York City!

In the Big Apple, Buddy finds out why his dad (James Caan) is on the naughty list! But most importantly, he sees that the world is seriously lacking in Christmas spirit, which causes Santa all kinds of problems!

So with the help of a beautiful department store elf (Zooey Deschanel), Buddy tries to teach his dad and the world the true meaning of Christmas spirit and to prove to everyone that Santa (Ed Asner) really exists!

She said she had to send it to me because my Christmas marathon will not be complete without it!

So please everyone... help me thank her for risking life and limbs just so my Christmas marathon can be complete!  :tease:

Seriously though... Thanks for everything! :)

Pete, I saw both Gremlins movies when they first played in theaters but I'm not sure I've ever seen them since.  I never thought of them as comedies, though!
:o

They are extremely funny and purposely so! Some is rather dark humor, sure (old lady in her stair-lift) but funny nonetheless. Clearly a Joe Dante film...

She wanted to ease the pain of it being late :P So what is she doing? Putting together another box for us!  :o

I haven't gotten a list yet... but will let you all know what else she is sending me once she sends me the list!  ;D

OK... here is the list she just PMed me with...

First off this one it seems the UPC is shared with another title... so will probably have to go in to the DVDP database by Disc ID (not in there now).

Aviator
I am not sure if this is the 1985 movie with Christopher Reeve and Roseanna Arquette

or

The 2004 movie with Leonardo DiCaprio and Cate Blanchett

Then she is sending....

National Lampoon Live: Down & Dirty
From the creators of National Lampoon's Animal House and the National Lampoon's Vacation movie series comes the greatest comedy DVD series in history.

National Lampoon searched every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse, doghouse and comedy club for the funniest raunchy talent in comedy. It's so funny you'll pee your pants!
The Phandom Menace
The slick claims that this is the "definitive look at the most devoted fans on the planet".

Follow the lives of Australia's most passionate Star Wars fans as the moment they've waited 16 years for is suddenly upon them. See the amazing costumes, trivia soaked brains, vast collections and unconditional dedication that make these fans a breed apart.  Be stunned by the shockwaves that echo through the Star Wars fan community at the dawn of it's new prequel era.

Translation:  A documentary combining yet another Star Wars -type convention held in Melbourne, Australia, in 1999 and the launch of the new Star Wars movie Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace at Hoyts Theatres at midnight.  The fans will go Ape (oops, wrong film) over this trivial documentary.
Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason
Renée Zellweger is back as everyone's favorite witty heroine in Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. Not that Bridget's counting, but it's been six wonderful weeks, four fabulous days, and seven precious hours with one flawless boyfriend, Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). But when mischievous and devilishly charming Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) arrives on the scene claiming to be a reformed man, can Bridget find a way to make true love last forever? It's the "absolutely hilarious" (Jim Ferguson, ABC-TV) romantic comedy that proves there's nothing like love to send you over the edge.
Return to Me
Who knew that when he ordered the special, he'd get the dish of his life? David Duchovny ("The 'X'-Files") and Minnie Driver ('Good Will Hunting') ignite sparks in this "warm-hearted winner"  (Jeff Craig, 'Sixty Second Preview') about a widower and a waitress who meet and fall in love. Featuring an incredible all-star cast, this hilarious romantic comedy delivers a lot of laughs, tears and joys that will make your spirits soar.

It took a lot of coaxing to get Bob (Duchovny), a recently widowed architect, to go on a blind date at a quirky Irish-Italian eatery. Once there, he's smitten instantly...not with his date, but with the sharp-witted waitress, Grace (Driver). With unsolicited help from Grace's match-making Grandfather (Carroll O'Connor), Bob asks her out. And as their relationship blossoms, everything seems to be going great, until an unbelievable truth is revealed...one that could easily break both of their hearts for good.
Confidence
When professional grifter Jake Vig (Edward Burns) chooses the wrong mark in The King (Dustin Hoffman), he is given two choices: pull off a near impossible heist or lose his life. Needing all the help he can get, Jake brings in beautiful con artist Lily (Rachel Weisz) and a mixed group of "professionals". Nonetheless, with The King riding him and a pesky Special Agent (Andy Gacia) on his tail, Jake and his team look to have the odds stacked against them.
Wild Things 2
'Even wetter and wilder' than the original, 'WILD THINGS 2' is the sexy sequel that shows just how far two beautiful girls will go to get what they want. When her filthy rich stepfather dies, Brittney Havers' life of luxury seems to be over. But things take a twisted turn when a gorgeous classmate makes a claim for the dead man's money. With everything at stake, the two teens go head to head in a fight that takes them from the courtroom to the bedroom to the dangerous depths of murder.
Rescue Me: The Complete First Season
Tommy Gavin (Denis Leary) is a lifesaver. Whether he is pulling survivors from fiery high-rise infernos or the twisted steel of a subway collision, Gavin takes great pride in leading the heroic but often overwhelmed firefighters of New York City's Truck Company 62.  Gavin is also a man drifting between sorrow and anger over a recent separation from his wife (Andrea Roth) and three kids, and recurring memories of comrades and New Yorkers who fell victim to the tragedy of 9/11.  Leary and multiple Emmy Award®-winning writer-producer Peter Tolan (The Larry Sanders Show, Murphy Brown), the team behind the critically-acclaimed cop drama The Job, have re-united as creators, writers and executive producers of RESCUE ME.

Only in NATIONAL LAMPOON'S FAVORITE DEADLY SINS in the tradition of other National Lampoon comedy hits!

This original comedy features a trio of tales about "Lust", "Greed" and "Anger".
Big City Blues
It's a wild, chaotic roller-coaster ride when the lives of two hitmen, Connor (Burt Reynolds), Boogie Nights) and Hudson (William Forsythe, The Rock) threaten to intersect with the plans of a beautiful hooker (Georgina Cates, Clay Pigeons) and a collection of characters on one long night in the Big City. When they finally meet in a bloody, chaotic showdown, you'll be hanging onto the edge of your seat!
The Jacket
Jack Starks knows little about who he is. Nor does he know why he's bound in a strait-jacket and subjected to bizarre psychiatric treatments. But an even more stunning fate awaits this amnesia-stricken Gulf War veteran: the treatments thrust him into the year 2007 – where Jack learns he died in 1993.

Impressive filmmaking talents join forces for The Jacket, a mind- and genre-bender of a psychological thriller produced by Peter Guber, George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh. Academy Award® winner* Adrien Brody (The Pianist) plays Starks, the time traveler running out of time. And Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl), Kris Kristofferson and Jennifer Jason Leigh bring additional star wattage to eerie events that reach beyond time, beyond fantasy, beyond life itself.

A dizzying and hilarious chase ensues with Shrek (Mike Myers) and Donkey (Eddie Murphy) hot on the trail! More action, more adventure, more fun that picks up right where SHREK left off...and drops you off laughing and out of breath before SHREK 2 begins!

Then there is a partial box set she has (1 disc missing out of a 4 disc set) of old TV episodes... she is throwing in there.  I guess I will be able to make up child profiles for the 3 anyway to add to my collection. :)

Then finally one that I already have... so I told her I already have it... so if the package isn't already made she may end up switching out...

The Satanic Rites of Dracula
In London in the 1970's, Scotland Yard police investigators think they have uncovered a case of vampirism. They call in an expert vampire researcher named Van Helsing (an ancestor of the the great vampire hunter himself, no less) to help them put a stop to these hideous crimes. It becomes apparent that the culprit is Count Dracula himself, disguised as a reclusive property developer, but secretly plotting to unleash a fatal virus upon the world.

I never seen any of the above... so looking forward to checking them out. :)

Just heard back... it is this Aviation...

The Aviator
One of the 20th century's most compelling figures, Howard Hughes was a wily industrialist, glamorous movie producer and unstoppable American innovator - but he thought of himself first and foremost as an aviator. In this spectacular epic, director Martin Scorsese focuses on the most prolific period in the life of Hughes (played by Best Actor Golden Globe ® Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio): the mid-1920s through the 1940s. It was a time of brilliant aeronautical invention, turbulent love affairs (including one with Katharine Hepburn, played by Cate Blanchett) and savage corporate battles. Prepare yourself for the ride of the lifetime of this billionaire, genius, madman.

And she will be able to switch out the copy of Satanic Rites of Dracula for me!
