I remembered this being a fun episode, and I was remembering correctly. We have a crazy storyline and a lot of fun character moments. Frannie and Ray bickering. Thatcher having a bigger role and tagging along on the case.

Somehow my episode listing is screwed up. I'm missing Eggmen. I'll get it next as it's on the next disc (or I hope it is anyway  ).

The Edge
OK – perhaps I wasn’t paying attention but I have no idea what was going on for the 1st half of this episode. I guess it pulls itself together at the end. 

Best thing about this episode is the scenes between Fraser and his boss.

Starman
Considering the guest star on this one I knew from the 1st scene I would enjoy this episode. Then, add the compulsive liar from the S1 episode “The Man Who Knew Too Little” (where Ray had to blow up his car  ) and you have what should be one of the best episodes yet!

Unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. It was good, better than the last few have been.

I just would have like to see the liar try to pull a few things over again, like the last time.

Of course there wasn’t anything close to enough air time for Amanda Tapping

Rating I still have to give it a though. Anything with Samantha Carter in it has to get a 5



Some Like it Red
And it’s back and 100% on form! The only thing missing in this episode was the wolf.

I knew I recognized the guest star on this but couldn’t think of where I knew her from. The was the wife/mom  from the show Alien Nation. Guess I didn’t recognize her with hair!

A good episode. Though you have to suspend your disbelieve that nobody notices that Ms. Fraser is a woman. Also Fraser must have experience with wearing women's shoes. He was walking like an expert

Sorry guys, I have to put this on hold. I'm headin to Hawaii again this weekend for about 10 days. I'll be working a lot and in a real office.  I'll even have to wear long pants!

I know... I am pretty far behind myself on this marathon. But for some reason I just haven't been in the mood for it here lately. I am still enjoying the show... honest... though I don't think season 2 has been as good as the first season so far.

This has always been one of my favorite episodes. It was written by Paul Gross who is playing Fraser. It is almost like a fanfiction. It combines everything a typical fanfiction would do. Integrating fan-favorite guest characters (Leslie Nielsen as Buck Forbisher, Fraser's ghost dad, the incompetent FBI agents from season 1). Acting out the sexual tension between Fraser and his boss by having them bound together. Sadly this episode marks the high-point of their relationship in this series. Paul Gross, who is also a singer/song writer in real life, managed to get one of his songs into the show (he will get another chance in season 3, but on the other hand, he will be the executive producer then). I enjoy both songs he got into the series and have both as mp3 and listen to them from time to time.

Bird in the Hand
This episode was only fair to me. It felt like the comedy was lacking for the most part. Even though I did like Fraser's father edging him on to kill or hurt the guy that killed him. But one thing did bother me a lot in this episode. The guy that killed Fraser's father seen him while hanging from the window. That just does not fit in with the father being only in Fraser's mind.

see... that jumping back and forth crap is what bugs me. He is just in his mind... no he is a ghost... nope just in his mind. 

I tell you... I am still enjoying the show... but so far it was much better the first season. at least IMO.

The Promise
I guess I have to be a different on this one. I rather enjoyed it. Sure there wasn't much comedy... if any at all in this episode. But I liked the storyline about the two kids. At this point I am undecided on how I feel about Fraser's new boss. It could be good if done right... but as of yet I have just found her a tad on the boring side. I also didn't care much for the idea of the wolf acting sick for sympathy.

Mask
This one I didn't care for much at all. Not only did it have virtually no comedy at all... but the story itself I found more boring then anything. I had a hard time keeping my attention on the show while watching.
