It's Remembrance Sunday here in the UK. Apparently it's also marked as Veteran's Day in the US and Remembrance Day in Canada. It's to remember those who gave their lives in war, introduced after the First World War, hence the significance of poppies. Everyone wears a paper Poppy around this time and money raised from the sale of them goes to the Royal British Legion, who look after veterans later in life.

Thanks Jon. It is a day to remember and honor those who have served their country.
We don't do the poppies or anything like that. Would be a good way to raise money for the Veteran's Affairs people.
