Video conversion help needed
« on: February 08, 2009, 09:24:56 AM »
I need some help for some video conversion and I'm sure that someone here can give it to me  ;)

OK everyone know that I'm not the best on the technical side, so this is my problem :

I search a good software (prefer freeware, shareware at worst) to convert different format of files (avi, wmw, mpg,...) in the same format that is use on dvd.

Why? I've found a great forum with a lot of vhs rip of Golden Age Pornography movie, but I want to have them burned individually on dvd since it's easier to catalog them.

Now for those who are ready to accuse me of getting bootleg material  :(
Those movies are not available on dvd (or release incomplete) and they will probably never be because the companies have a self censorship policy . Without it I would be the first to buy those movies

Just some title exemple :
A Dirty Western (1975), Maraschino Cherry (1978) - uncut, Naked Came The Stranger (1975) - uncut, Confessions of a Teenage Peanut Butter Freak (1975), Teenage Cowgirls (1973), Sensations (1975), Kathy's Graduation Present (1973), ....

The only downside is that I've to get the files on rapidshare (since most of them are hosting there) and it's a pain in the ass.

I think Avi2DVD is still freeware, but it's slow.

Just use VSO ConvertXtoDVD 3 for the first time today for my first project. What can I say? Really easy to use and fast enough for my taste. I'm not familliar yet with the different possibilities, so my dvd menu and the chapters are basic.

The best features (for me) : it use the french language (he even talks to me ) certainly a plus for me.
