My Thoughts:
I sat down and watched this one with my daughter after she bought it with a Walmart Gift Card she got for Christmas. Remembering that I did use to watch the cartoons for a short period of time I was curios about how it would come out... but didn't have my hopes up as the cartoons were pretty bad for anyone but the younger kids.

The first thing I noticed was that for some strange reason not only does the dvd default to the pan and scan version... but the Widescreen selection is well hidden. For the life of me I don't understand why... but to get the widescreen version to play you must go into the Audio Selections of the DVD. The movie itself really surprised me. It is a good, fun movie for the entire family! I can't believe I am saying it... but I enjoyed every minute of it.

We didn't check out many of the extras... but we did watch the old cartoon episode. Even Brittany thought the cartoon series was bad.  Even I forgot how bad they were. I completely forgot how everything that came out of Underdog's mouth was nothing but rhymes. After the cartoon it showed the volume sets where you can buy the cartoon... so I couldn't help myself... I looked at my daughter... and said.... "This is one series from my childhood I did not buy... And now you can see why!" She laughed at me... slapped me on the arm and told me I better stop the rhyming right now!

But Overall... this movie is a great addition for any family library.  Fun times for the whole family!

I caught this on HBO the other day and somehow stayed on the channel... To my surprise to, I thought it was a decent Family flick, with fun to be had for all ages. I almost threw it into my Wish List, but then decided I am wiser than that

My standout moment was the story about dogs chasing their tales...
Something along these lines: "it gives you something to do; if your lucky you puke and 'bang', second breakfast" :hysterical: (of course, it's delivered much better in the movie...)

Also funny:
Shoeshine Boy: Y'know, you never see dogs hurting each other for money.
Jack: You never see people sniffing each other's butts.
Shoeshine Boy: Touché.

 Yeah... there was definitely some good stuff in it. And hey... I don't have to worry about having it in my collection. That is one good thing about having kids... blame all those titles on them!  :tease:
