Shadow Complex

I tried the demo. Not the type of game I like at all.. but yeah, even just that and I started getting a bit frustrated. Especially the big spider thing which you have to lob grenades under, yet it just kept hitting the small ledge, because of course, you have to put a small ledge blocking the grenade lobbing area to make things difficult  ::)

Here are the XBOX 360 titles I currently own. I trade in a lot. I will try to rank them on a scale of 1 to 10

Gears of War: Completed twice ( 8  )
Gears of War 2: Completed once (9)
Smackdown vs Raw 2009 (7)
Call of Duty: World at War: Completed once, but spend a lot of time playing Nazi Zombies.   (9)
Call of Duty 5: Modern Warfare: Completed twice (9.5)
Call of Duty 3: Haven't finished yet (7)
Halo Wars: Completed once (7.5)
Assassins Creed: Need to complete the last assassination (7)
Nascar 2009 (7.5)
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Completed twice (7)
Forza 2 (8.5)
Resident Evil 5: From what I have read I am on the last chapter ( 8 )
NBA 2K9 (7.5)
Lego Indiana Jones: Unfinished. My wife loves this game, so I usually wait so that we can play together. (7)
Batman: Arkham Asylum: Completed once (9)
Dead Space: Completed once. My favorite horror game for the 360. (10)
Lost Planet: Completed once. (7.5)
Guitar Hero III: Completed once (7)

Really looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 and Lost Planet 2. Has anyone played Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 yet? I enjoyed the first one.

I tried Marvel Ultimate Alliance, I couldn't get into it.

I so want to play Batman Arkham Asylum, but given current circumstances, I'll have to wait for price to go down, and probably then get a pre-owned.

The game I'm most looking forward to though is Mass Effect 2!

I have been meaning to get Mass Effect 1 pre-owned and try it out. I really enjoyed the Knights of the Old Republic games and I understand that Mass Effect is by the same developer.

Just played through 2 great demos.

Fora 3: I didn't think this game could get much better, but boy was I wrong. The cars and environments in this game look absolutely amazing.

Brutal Legend: This demo was actually really fun. Usually when they try to do a game with comedy it just comes off as annoying. This game actually maybe me laugh a few times. Jack Black's voice over was great.

All this talk about Mass Effect made me get it but I recall it to be a 1 person shooter, so I was little confused at first. It looks though I was thinking on some other game. I think it'll take some time before I play it through, but it looks promising so far, I just have to build up some patients for all the conversations... ;)

The other game I got at the same time was Halo ODST and that was a little predictable, but still interesting. I usually play a game straight through but this game I had to stop because...

So, still some ways to go in that game.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is a great game with an excellent script. Personally I find the combat a bit difficult to master but it didn't stop me getting through the game on the easier difficulties.

I'm just about to start Halo ODST, but I think the game I'm looking forward to the most next is Borderlands - mainly because of its sense of humour:

I never realised the Brutal Legend demo was available and can't see it in the marketplace, but it looks like it could be fun.

Oh, and if anyone wants to find a good home for any unwanted Fable 2 dolls, I'm sure I could think of somewhere...

Seriously, it's the only f-ing achievement left on this game!

"87 Bazillion guns"  :hysterical:

Does look like a cracker and I normally wait until things have started being traded in before I buy, but I may have to have a bash at this one.

I am still on the fence with Borderlands. Will have to wait for reviews trickling in.

I'll be busy with Uncharted 2: Among Thieves anyway... (tried the multiplayer demo today and it was pretty sweet).

I'm sure this isn't related at all, but you really make me want to play Uncharted Water : New Horizon on my SNES emulator to pass the time today ;D

Well, "my" game is also about treasures. But I think that's where similarities end.

Here's a trailer:

Finally picked up Halo 3. I'm not very far in, but fun so far. ;D I know i'm a little behind, but there have been so many other games I had more interest in.

Me and a friend were going to play through the campaign on co-op, but for some reason you can't save a non-online co-op campaign.

Is this Halo ODST you're playing?

You're right, there seems to be no proper save game system at all - which sucks.

But what you should be able to do is select Campaign from the main menu to go to the lobby and from there you can select the mission that you want to start at. Any that you've played on or offline will be unlocked.

But you're right, a game in this day and age that doesn't even have a proper Resume option is just ridiculous.

I still have Halo 3 sitting on the shelf unplayed.. There's been so many good games.. And now ODST is out and looks interesting, although I'm not sure I want to pay full retail price for what should've been, and had been announced, as an expansion to Halo 3

Nope, I'm just now playing Halo 3. ODST looks interesting though. Do I need to finish Halo 3 to understand ODST?
