So what?

Anyone following them on Facebook? They've just released this photo of Akira Kurosawa on the set!

Excerpts from the French television program Cinéastes de notre temps: “Ivan Reitman”
They never did one featuring Ivan Reitman :P

More than six hundred minutes of rare behind-the-scenes and archival footage
More than 10 hours... I repeat more than 10 hours

I repeat Jon : Do you know what day it is today?

No idea what you mean.

10 hours? That is fantastic. Remember there will be a 3 disc Blu-Ray edition, so I think they can cover it. And now we know Kurosawa  was on set, shit, they must have some incredible footage.  :P

And Jimmy, I am well aware what day it is. I've always known what day it is. Stupid of Criterion to announce it today actually. I mean, some people might not treat it with the credibility it deserves.

I love Kindergarten Cop, I think I watched it before I ever saw Arnold in any "serious role".

I saw the news on Facebook trhis morning and totally fell for it :bag: (my excuse: I read it on April 2 )

I must say, seeing it now, the cover kind of looks too hokey, but the picture with Kurosawa also sold it to me.

On the product page it says "CONTINUITY-ASSISTANT-APPROVED THREE-DISC SPECIAL EDITION" :hysterical:

Brainless eighties movies are cool ;D
Had a lot of fun watching Jean Van Damne, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, even Steven Seagall when I was younger.

Sitting in front of the TV watching over the top non-stop action is sure a good way to waste an hour or so

BTW watching a movie directed by the guy who did Invasion USA and Missing in Action can't be a non fun time ;)

At the german Drogerie Müller they sell these 80s action movies uncut rather cheap (on DVD). They've got everything: Missing in Action, American Fighter, ... :D

I already have all that I wanted. ;)

Love these movies. I'm one of few people who is even a fan of those more recent films starring these action 'has-beens'. Best for me, Second in Command with Van Damme. :-[

Well, yes, although the 80s action flicks is to always where it's at for me.

Since he is mentioned, which Chuck Norris film would be recommended to get a good feeling for what his stuff is about. Been wanting to check him out for some time now, just not sure where to begin.

Is that a favorite of yours or is the smiley meant to be ironic. I was originally thinking more of "hardcore" Noris, this seems a bit more on the fluffy side? I could go with it...
