I may have to pre-order a few more TV sets.  I've already pre-ordered the 5th season of Boy Meets World and the 3rd season of According To Jim which are due out soon...but not the season for each beyond those are already being worked on.  Sadly, Boy Meets World gave up extras long ago.  They're still doing extras for According To Jim but I've heard the extras for season 4 are basically 2 featurettes.  Does this mean no  more audio commentaries?  I like those, even though they seem to limit those to 2 episodes a set.

Battle Beyond the Stars is also available on Blu-Ray (so Achim must order it too :P) and Damnation Alley too according to Cliff but it isn't listed yet at Amazon.

Battle Beyond the Stars is on my Amazon Wish List. It is currently not available though :headscratch: I'll order it soon, I think, a a few other titles I want (e.g. The Incredibles). About the cover art: a) What the heck is that on George Peppard's head? b) John Boy Walton!!!

So the other film you mentioned in PM is Damnation Alley...? Awesome! I wanted to see this film ever since I was a teenager and just never had a chance yet. I am sure to get it! This was originally slated for release through Anchor Bay a few years back, but they never finished it.

I actually had found it already after making above post. Heck, even Bill Hunt wrote about it and had links to Amazon.

FWIW Marie many people refer to this one as Seven Samurai in Space a little fact that could be of interest for Jon and Antares who know and watch the Kurosawa's films.

I've heard that before, and Battle does seem to have its own cult following, even outside of being a Corman film.

Pre-ordered from Diabolik DVD (Can you believe I've wait for the uncut release of this set since 2006 :yu:)

Mr. Skin and Panik House Entertainment Present the Unholy Trinity of "Women in Prison" Films! CHAINED HEAT, widely regarded as the greatest “women-in-prison” film of all time, finally comes to DVD in a totally uncut, re-mastered version. This triple-pack of “boobs behind bars” mid-80s exploitation classics will only be in print for a limited time.

CHAINED HEAT - Linda Blair (The Exorcist) stars as Carol Henderson, a woman sentenced to 18 months in federal prison after accidentally killing a man.  With the perverted warden (John Vernon, Animal House) seducing the inmates and two rival gangs fighting a race war, Carol struggles to survive her remaining days in the sleazy slammer.  Also stars cult film favorites Sybil Danning, Tamara Dobson and Stella Stevens. Newly re-mastered in anamorphic widescreen and presented totally uncut for the first time in North America!

RED HEAT - Linda Blair heads back to prison as American tourist Christine Carlson, a woman wrongly sentenced to three years in a brutal East German penitentiary after being forced to admit to false charges of espionage.  Tormented by the evil prisoner Sofia (Sylvia Kristel, Emmanuelle), Christine must fight for her life as her fiancée tries to rescue her from the sadistic hell behind bars.  Presented in Anamorphic Widescreen.

JUNGLE WARRIORS - A group of gorgeous models flies to a South American country to scout locations for a photo session.  When their plane is shot down, the models are imprisoned and subjected to horrible torture and rape by an evil drug lord.  In an effort to escape, the girls grab some firepower, take revenge, and try to shoot their way to freedom! Stars Sybil Danning and John Vernon. Presented in Anamorphic Widescreen

NTSC All Region
Trailers for All Three Features
Video Interviews with Sybil Danning and Stella Stevens
Anamorphic Widescreen

BTW I hate the banner at the top that makes the set looks cheap wich it isn't

Pre-order from Amazon Canada today

Maybe this one could interest you Pete? It's a well known TV movie with a young Linda Blair, the previous release was incomplete and the label releasing it (Hen's Tooth) always do a good job with their products.

BTW a lot of her film came for the first time or are re-release this year : Born Innocent, Chained Heat, Red Heat, Savage Street (I canceled the british release, since Code Red works on a new HD-transfert with new extras) and Grotesque are those I know of already.

Even a special edition of The Exorcist II would be welcome here

I got tired of waiting after Amazon Canada to have them listed for pre-order so I jump the gun and just did my pre-order at Diabolik DVD.
