Alfred Hitchcock - The Masterpiece Collection (Blu-ray) 1942-1976

The German release has just been postponed until Dec. 28th.

Word amongst those in the know at hometheaterforum.com and criterionforum.org is that there are quality issues with the transfers. Since I'm not that interested in Hitchcock I only skimmed through the relevant topics, but I would advise to do some research before spending that much money.

Thanks again! I'll always try to do my research before i spend alot of money on things. The same on this one.
But i got some blu's from Hitchcock allready (Psycho, To Catch a Tief) and people said the same kind of stuff about atleast the Psycho, but i actually think they did a good job with that one. But i will always do my research :)

Thanks for the headup

Pre-order from Amazon Canada

So it's my first pre-order for 2013, but the price are low and it's always preferable to lock your price soon since nearer is the release day higher is the price...

BTW the price for the DVD and the Blu-Ray of Deadly Blessing are the same at Amazon Canada wich is not the case at the main Amazon. Nice to get the advantage for a change

Walter Olsen of Scorpion Releasing just confirm to me that Georgia, Georgia will have a commentary with Dirk Benedict and Stig Bjorkman.

I think it's a movie that could interest some of you, so I give you the link for it at Amazon.

I added the full specs of Georgia Georgia the other day to Rewind. The guy who provided the specs does the reviews for Scorpion Releasing titles at several sites so he always sends us the specs as soon as he gets the discs:

I also added their release of American Nightmare:

Guys you're faster than Amazon... The way they list it it sounds like a very expensive extraless release.

It's the reason why I did ask Walter.

Edit :
But nothing on Baby Sister :P
No need to, I know already that no extra are on that disc.

All the precedent release from 88 Films were region free (at least the Charles Band materials is), but just to be sure I shoot them an email. I'll let you know when I'll get a reply.

Just got the answer from 88 Films and I think you'll like to read it ;D

Hi Jimmy,

All of our releases, both DVD and Blu-ray are region free. We're currently revamping our website at the moment and all this info will be made clearer on there.

Thanks so much for pre-ordering our releases!

Did you take part in the recent Facebook competition to win Puppet Master blu-rays? If not keep an eye out on our Facebook site for more competitions and giveaways coming soon.

Best
