A little one...

When I saw the trailer when it was released I found it interesting... It will probably end as a deception for me but who knows

I wait for this one since a really long time...

Kermode said he liked the concept and thought it was basically o.k., but they could have done more with it. Interested to see what you will think.

From Diabolik DVD (november 6)

Every year, girls move to the big city determined to make their dreams come true - or they die trying. This is a brutally realistic depiction of the underbelly of urban degradation. Played out against the garish background of striptease, pornography, drug peddling, and prostitution, it is the grim story of a young man's search for his sister. In the process of his search, he unearths the brutal truth surrounding a young girl's death, and also lifts the lid off of the American Nightmare! Starring Michael Ironside (SCANNERS, TOTAL RECALL), Alexandra Paul (BAYWATCH, CHRISTINE), and LENORE ZANN.

Academy Award winner GEORGE KENNEDY stars with RICHARD CRENNA, NICK MANCUSO and SAUL RUBINEK in this terryfing tale of a possessed ship searching for new victims on the high seas! An ocean liner carrying vacationing passengers collides with a mysterious freighter. The handful of survivors seek refuge aboard the sinister freighter, which turns out to be possessed by the evil forces that once commanded it! The DEATHSHIP has a life of its own - pray you are never rescued by the DEATHSHIP! Now see it in widescreen from a brand new HD master!

From Amazon Canada (december 11)

The Island stars Michael Caine as Blair Maynard, an investigative writer who tracks down one of the most baffling mysteries - the disappearance of pleasure crafts and its passengers in the Caribbean. During his investigation, he and his son are captured by raiding pirates who need his services to help improve their degenerated gene pool. When his son is converted to the pirates' barbarian ways and turns against him, Blair must come to his rescue.

A serial killer is gruesomely dispatching the locals in Death Valley and the terror mounts even further after he targets a divorced mother, her young son and her new boyfriend who are vacationing there.

Come at second place...

I'm a seventies adult film (soft or hard) fan in the first place, but good releases doesn't happen often.

I have a blog about those films but I haven't write on it for quite a while... I've reviewed some too here, but I've stop because not all our members are adult.

Seventies and eighties horror, I can watch something recent sometimes but I dislike CGI effects as it never look real. But all the veteran here could tell you that I don't like new movie in general

My blog is here, but as I said I haven't wrote in it for quite some time... Of course it's NSFBSK.

For the review here they are mostly in two places : in that thread and in that one (this is where I put most of my reviews).

Thanks Jim. A lot of different and interesting reading here :)
And i see, i'm fairly new here. (so i didnt know that) And i just have to say one thing aswell, i too enjoy old movies. Many great movies! And i like old horror classics too, but it is very difficult to find real great horror movies sometimes from the 60/70/80's. Where do you order your favourites from? (if you dont mind me asking ofc)

So i take it that you are not a big SAW fan then? ;)

It's the kind of thing that change often

But I can give it a try ;D

First movie I've seen in a theatre when I was 12 years old. The transformation special effects by Rick Baker won't never be beaten.

One of the best film ever made. a great exemple of an encounter between the civilize and the primitive world where the primitives aren't necessary who you think they are

an italian production who is kind of a mix of The Omen and The Exorcist, good cast and an awesome performance by the young Paige Connors in the title role.

Not that scary, but I love the athmosphere of this film.

This one gave me a ton of nightmares... the Templars are scary and hard to beat.

Silly, but the effects are well done, the soundtrack is excellent and it's a non stop action piece.

Scary as hell. You don't need a fictive monster to be frighten when monster exist in real life...

Nice, thanks :) Alot of movies i've been very interested in gettin actually. And many of them are on blu aswell! Nice.
But when it comes to "Henry Portrait Of A Serial Killer" i've heard so much about it. Both good and both bad, (and then its real bad) by some. So i've been very unsure about that one. The trailer tho looks quite interesting tho.
But worth a pick up huh? :)
