Topic: Amsterdamned

Amsterdamned is now available to buy in the UK  (just waiting for it to reduce in price a bit) but before i purchase was wondering if it is going to get a Blu-ray release and if so would there be any advantage to this (Better Picture/Sound) over the DVD.

I've never heard of this! Sounds good. But you have to judge a blu-ray on its own terms. If they just dump the current master on the disc, you'll get no benefit. If they go back to the source it will be like you were watching it for the first time. I'd guess this wouldn't get a BR anyway.

Wow, a blast from the past!

Dick Maas was not a bad director of genre films, but after three fairly popular movies he somewhat disappeared...at least from my radar. According to IMDb he has been working regularly.

I quite remember liking Amsterdamned. May have to pick this up at some point.
