Medium
Season 6 Disc 1

1. Déjà Vu All Over Again
Now that she is out of a coma, Allison slowly starts to gain control of her body, but no longer has her dreams. Meanwhile, Joe's career takes an interesting turn.

My Thoughts:
I haven't seen these episodes since they originally aired. And after re-watching season 5 I been excited about getting to these episodes. This one changes the pace of the opening of the episode. Normally we have the episode start with Allison dreaming... but since her dreams are gone this episode we get to see what Joe is dreaming. This is an excellent episode. I enjoyed every second of it. Especially after the cliffhanger season 5 left us with.

My Rating:

2. Who's That Girl
Ariel has the whole family worried about her strange behavior, which Allison believes is caused by the dead stripper who has taken over Ariel's body.

My Thoughts:
Another absolutely excellent episode! This one is a big Ariel storyline... and Sofia Vassilieva did a fantastic job with it! Playing Allison's oldest daughter.... after 6 years of playing the part she is getting older now... so they put more on her. And this episode proves she was able to handle it with no problem at all. A very talented young actress.

My Rating:

3. Pain Killer
When Allison's friend with cancer dies prematurely, Allison suspects a hospital employee of foul play. Bridgette's writing seems to reflect Joe's job search.

My Thoughts:
While still a very good episode... it isn't quite as good as the last couple I just watched. I think part of the problem is that I didn't have enough time to care about the characters in this storyline. Allison's friend, the victim in this story... who we are meant to care about we only saw on a few very brief scenes. But other then that I enjoyed it quite a bit.

My Rating:

4. The Medium Is The Message
Allison starts imagining mysterious symbols. Her doctor believes they are the result of her surgery, but Allison believes they are the key to capturing a killer.

My Thoughts:
This is another excellent episode. I loved every minute of it. Both the story and characters was done great. I even liked the side story of Joe getting the new job.

My Rating:

Season 6 Disc 1 Over-all Thoughts:
A lot of great epsiodes on this disc. It seems almost impossible to pick a favorite out of the above episodes. But if pushed I guess I would probably go with The Medium is the Message. There is no show related extras on this disc. Only extras what so ever here is a few trailers for other shows.

Medium
Season 6 Disc 2

5. Baby Fever
After she helps find a kidnapped baby boy, Allison becomes obsessed with the infant. Bridgette wants to play music until she learns Marie is a prodigy.

My Thoughts:
This is the 100th episode of the series. They normally make a big deal about such a milestone. Though this time there really wasn't anything special about the episode. At least no more then most episodes. It is a very good episode for sure... but it isn't a great one like the 100th episode of series usually are.

My Rating:

6. Bite Me
During Halloween, Allison dreams of a classic zombie film — then awakens with scratches and bite marks! A funeral director's death arouses suspicion.

My Thoughts:
Not only is this a Halloween episode... but it plays around with a favorite classic zombie movie of mine. That being Night of the Living Dead. I of course loved every minute of this episode. Well I could have went without the side-story of the pet tarantula. But that is beside the point.

My Rating:

7. New Terrain
When Allison's old car dies, she rents a new SUV which she really enjoys — until the vehicle's radio allows her to hear other people's conversations.

My Thoughts:
A good episode with an interesting storyline. I found it entertaining... though nothing overly special. No advancement in old storylines... basically no more then a filler episode.

My Rating:

8. Once In A Lifetime
Joe likes Ariel's new boyfriend, but Allison has visions that the kid was involved in a murder. Bridgette films a bumbling neighbor and posts it on the internet.

My Thoughts:
Another episode I enjoyed quite a bit. It has a very interesting storyline... as well as characters you care about. And I liked the end reveal on how they explained what seemed to be a case of reincarnation.

My Rating:

Season 6 Disc 2 Over-all Thoughts:
This disc has a lot of really good episodes on it. I enjoyed each and every one of them very much. But even with that said... I can easily tell you my favorite episode is Bite Me.... a big time horror fan how couldn't it be? This disc has two featurettes on it. The first being on the celebration they had after making the 100th episode. This one was very short. Something like 3min long. There really wasn't much special about it. About what you would expect from the title alone. Then there is a somewhat longer (7min, 30sec.) on the making of the episode Bite Me. This one I liked a lot. I know... no surprise there. But I found it very interesting. Talking about how they put the characters of Medium right into the movie Night of the Living Dead... and what it was like for the cast and crew to do it. This one I am really glad I took the time to watch.

Season 6 Disc 3

9. The Future's So Bright
After she becomes extremely sensitive to light, Allison has to wear a pair of dark sunglasses, which oddly allows her to see people's life expectancies.

My Thoughts:
This one is a very good episode. I liked how she saw the everyone's life expectancy. Though she has more self control then I would ever have. Not looking at her family with the glasses on. Especially since there was a bit of a health scare for her husband in this episode.

My Rating:

10. You Give Me Fever
When samples of a deadly virus is stolen, Phoenix is put on high alert, but Allison knows the real culprit. Lee Scanlon wants to propose to his girlfriend.

My Thoughts:
A good episode with an interesting storyline. I also liked the side storyline involving Scanlon and Lynn. I originally didn't care much for the character of Scanlon... but he definitely grew on me over the years.

My Rating:

11. An Everlasting Love
After she causes a prime suspect to be killed by the police, Allison offers to help his ghost get in touch with his girlfriend. Joe is asked to read his boss' novel.

My Thoughts:
Another episode I liked quite a bit. It has a good storyline and the characters are likable. It even has a bit of a laugh or two towards the end of the episode.

My Rating:

12. Dear Dad...
When Devalos becomes haunted by memories of his late daughter, Allison suspects he is hiding details about her death in order to protect himself.

My Thoughts:
This is an excellent episode. A very powerful and touching story. It tells the story of what actually happened to Devolos' daughter.

My Rating:

13. Psych
A young woman escapes a sanitarium and commits murder, but Allison is more interested in her roommate. Bridgette thinks she may have feelings for a boy.

My Thoughts:
While not a bad episode... this one is a little below par compared to the previous episodes in this set. A decent story... but I really didn't care about the characters in this one.

My Rating:

Season 6 Disc 3 Over-all Thoughts:
Over all this is a good disc. I think my favorite episode on this one would have to be The Future's So Bright. Unfortunately this disc has no extras what so ever.

Season 6 Disc 4

14. Will The Real Fred Rovick Please Stand Up?
As Ariel deals with a child's imaginary friend, Allison has her own troubles. She is seeing the same face on everyone she meets, including her husband Joe.

My Thoughts:
This is just a plain fun episode... one done all for laughs. And it definitely had a few laugh out loud moments. This one has Diedrich Bader (The Drew Carey Show) in it... he is the one Allison saw when looking at everyone. Men and women. So that was pretty funny. Then there was the side story with Ariel that was also fun... showed she was growing up to be just like her mother.

My Rating:

15. How To Beat A Bad Guy
After she is physically attacked, Allison takes self-defense lessons from a former victim. Scanlon is upset that his ex-convict brother is back in his life.

My Thoughts:
A very good episode. It has a strong story. Especially the part involving Scanlon and his brother. Throughout this episode I was thinking that this actress looks so familiar. Turns out it was Laura Prepon (That '70s Show). She changed her hair color and for some reason she just looked so different to me. Anyway... very good episode with a surprise ending.

My Rating:

16. Allison Rolen Got Married
Joe recounts to Bridgette the story of his wedding to Allison, and how her emerging gifts as a medium almost derailed their wedding ceremony in California.

My Thoughts:
This is a good episode... but it isn't quite up there as high as recent episodes. I actually struggled a little on how to rate this one. Part of me wanted to put it higher... but at the same time I felt the next rating up would be a little too high. It really kind of falls between the two ratings. It is kind of nice to see a prequel type episode and get to see Allison and Joe getting married. And they put a nice mystery into the story. But there was something that just wasn't quite right... something I couldn't quite put my finger one.

My Rating:

17. There Will Be Blood... Type A
Allison, Bridgette and Ariel all have the same dream — about a tormented young girl who commits suicide. Joe's flaky boss finally goes off the Deep End.

My Thoughts:
This is a good start to the two part episode. Both the main and the side storylines are keeping my interest. Will stop at this so I can hurry and start part 2.

My Rating:

18. There Will Be Blood... Type B
As work problems continue to plague Joe, he freaks out when Allison brings home the girl from her dreams, who could easily be a serial Killer's next victim.

My Thoughts:
This is a good conclusion to both storylines. Though it is a little on the slow side. I definitely seen better of this series. But it is more then worth watching.

My Rating:

Season 6 Disc 4 Over-all Thoughts:
Another disc full of very good episodes. I enjoyed them all quite a bit. But if I was to pick a favorite I think I would have to pick Will The Real Fred Rovick Please Stand Up?... for no other reason then it was just a plain fun episode. Once again this DVD has no extras what so ever.

Season 6 Disc 5

19. Sal
A murder in the neighborhood prompts Allison to get a new alarm system, which starts talking to Marie. A ghost tries to help Ariel get into college.

My Thoughts:
This is a very good episode. I enjoyed every minute of it. I also liked the side storyline with Ariel. This one has a rather big storyline with the youngest daughter, Marie as well. It is surprising... she      was just a baby when this series started.

My Rating:

20. Time Keeps Slipping
Ariel somehow loses a large portion of her life, and desperately tries to get back into the present day with the help of her future self.

My Thoughts:
Such an excellent episode! I was completely glued to my set from beginning to end...loving every minute of it. This one is another huge Ariel episode. Once again proving to me that Sofia Vassilieva is quite a talented young actress. Matter of fact after watching this episode I wouldn't mind seeing a spin-off series with her in the center of the whole thing!

My Rating:

21. Dead Meat
As Joe gets a special birthday present from Marie, Allison develops a relationship with a pig, hoping it will lead her to a missing animal rights activist.

My Thoughts:
A very good episode. I enjoyed both the main case as well as the side story of Joe's birthday. It easily kept my interest through-out.

My Rating:

22. It's A Wonderful Death
Allison is shocked that her brain tumor has returned, complicating her life, while challenging the beliefs of her concerned friends and family members.

My Thoughts:
Another excellent episode! I really liked how they did this episode. Kinda of like a "what if" episode. This episode also prepares us with the idea that Ariel will be going to college soon. Thankfully she is still in the 7th (final) season... as Sofia Vassilieva really impressed me in the last season or so.

My Rating:

Season 6 Disc 5 Over-all Thoughts:
This disc completes the 6th season. I have the final season coming... but it hasn't arrived yet. So this puts this thread to an end until it arrives. Favorite episode of the disc? I will have to go with It's A Wonderful Death. This disc has 2 featurettes and 1 interview. The interview is Patricia Arquette interviewing a writer/producer of the show. Now come on season 7! I so want to watch the rest of this series once again!

Medium
Season 7 Disc 1

1. Bring Your Daughter to Work Day
The investigation of a homeless man's death takes a strange twist when Allison and her daughter Bridgette mysteriously switch bodies.

My Thoughts:
This is a fun start to the season. It was entertaining to see Patricia Arquette acting like a 12 year old. There was no side story this time. I guess they needed all the time they could get for the main storyline. So the rest of the cast really had little to do in this episode.

My Rating:

2. The Match Game
When Allison begins to see symbols floating above people's heads, she wonders if she's been given the gift of matchmaking – or the key to a murder.

My Thoughts:
Another strong episode. I enjoyed the storyline. Definitely worth the time put in to watch it.

My Rating:

3. Means and Ends
Ariel receives a phone call from beyond the grave, which unlocks the secret of a murder of a young woman eleven years earlier.

My Thoughts:
Another good episode. It has a very interesting storyline... actually two of them as the side story is just as good. Other then the story above we get the story of Detective Scanlon having to fight to keep his job after a rough confrontation with a guy that beats his family. This one has a kind of surprising ending between Allison and Detective Scanlon.

My Rating:

Season 7 Disc 1 Over-all Thoughts:
Let me start off by saying I am so sad that the final season is so short. At only 13 episodes it is about half the length seasons usually are. It is kind of difficult to pick a favorite episode on this disc... but if pushed... I guess I would have to go with Bring Your Daughter to Work Day just for the plain fun of the episode. There is no series related extras on this first disc. All you get is some previews for other shows you can get from the same company.

I quite like the cover art of seasons 1-6 but not keen on the artwork for this one at all.

I've never seen an episode of this and might give it a go after I clear some of my TV mountain.

Season 7 Disc 2

4. How To Kill A Good Guy
When a woman's body is discovered buried in the desert, Allison's dreams suggest that Detective Lee Scanlon had something to do with the death.

My Thoughts:
As usual this episode starts with a dream... but what is different is that it is Detective Scanlon's dream this time instead of Allison. This is a good episode... I enjoyed it quite a bit. Not only is the storyline with Detective Scanlon good... but so is the side storyline of Ariel helping her sisters deal with the fact she is about to leave for college.

My Rating:

5. Talk To The Hand
After Allison scalds her hand with boiling water, she receives a skin graft from a donor victim who seeks justice for her murder.

My Thoughts:
The opening dream in this one is right fun... Who did she dream about? Oh No!... Mr. Bill! I really liked the storyline to this one. The side story of Bridgette playing soccer wasn't bad either.

My Rating:

6. Where Were You When...?
Repeated visions warn Allison that a major tragedy will rock the city at 9:18 a.m. – but she can't be sure on what day.

My Thoughts:
This isn't a bad episode.... but not a favorite. It really just an average episode. Even the side story of the graffiti on the neighbor's garage door was no more then ok.

My Rating:

7. Native Tongue
Allison awakens and is unable to understand anything unless it is spoken in a rare language that was known by a recent murder victim.

My Thoughts:
This is a good episode. I enjoyed it quite a bit. There is a woman in this episode that looked so familair. When I checked... it turned out she played Nurse Carla on the TV series Scrubs. I did find it a bit disheartening how Joe was showing that he is getting tired of the problems that comes with Allison's psychic abilities. But it is both realistic and fair.

My Rating:

Season 7 Disc 2 Over-all Thoughts:
Another disc is down. Unfortunately I am now just past the half way point in this set. I wish we got a full last season... but all we got was 13 episodes. Favorite episode on this disc?... it is pretty close.. but I guess I would have to go with Talk to the Hand this time. No extras what so ever on this disc to talk about.
