At last, an easy marathon for me!  :tease:
For me it will be an hard one. I noticed that I almost have no christmas movies. I will have to watch a lot of TV episodes.

I don't think I have much either way, hence it's easy! I suppose Die Hard and Lethal Weapon will get another spin...

Yes, but as I understood, the marathon will be called "The 31 movies of Christmas" or something like that.

HINT HINT Get your Xmas films and episodes out for December marathon  ;)

In my case, that will be the shortest marathon ever!

So, what I was thinking, is to do a James Bond marathon from Dec 1st to Dec 21st, and then X-mas for the rest of the month, as I am on vacation starting the 21st.

Well, it is always up for discussion so happy to hear thoughts regarding alternatives for December.

But the plan was for participants to enter either...

December Christmas Full Marathon - 31 films or tv episodes/cartoons linked to Xmas
(To fulfil the 31, 'runners' can use their imagination, a Dudley Moore film as he was in Santa Clause, A "HOLLY" Madison film, The Gift, Reindeer Games etc etc but the link to how it qualifies for Xmas must be recorded for the marathon. It might be possible to not watch an 'actual' xmas film - BAHHHH HUMBUG! I'm looking forward to seeing some pretty dodgy associations  ;))

or
Twelfth Day of Christmas Half Marathon - 12 films or episodes linked to Xmas

The January 'Truth Is Out There' Marathon I will stick to as I've been meaning to do this forever!

I am beginning to get concerned... These marathons seem to get longer and longer each time :o First was 27, then 28 and now already 31. What'll happen next? 50? :hysterical:

Seriously though, while I'll only go on vacation in January, making it to 31 in December will be real hard for me, as the Christmas days are normal working days for me here in Taiwan :'( maybe I'll do 24, as X-Mas is on the 24th :-[

What should help Achim is the ability to use tv episodes.
I expect at least 50% of mine will be watching Xmas TV specials - Morecambe and Wise, Porridge, OFAH etc., which will seriously cut down viewing time.
From January I will personally revert back to the 'official' marathon length of 26 (26 miles)

I thought of another one I can substitute earlier - Ladies in Stockings  :drooling:      Xmas link - stockings

I nicked Tom's to try and decipher it!  :P But I couldn't get my head around it

Moving discussion to this thread
It's your fault, when you take mine as example to learn
With my many hyperlinks it has become quite complex.

Here is a simple way to do this. When writing the posts, there are these three buttons above the text field:

Simply press the first one, to open up a table.
Then the second one, to open up a row.
Then the third one, to open up a column (entry in row).
Write the content of this entry. Then move after the /td tag and press the third button again to open up the next column entry. And so on.
To open up the next row, move after the /tr tag and press the second button again.

Yeah - that's a weak link but there is one. Perhaps TOY story is a closer one

HoHoHo!!  :yahoo:

Or how about Lord of the Rings as it starred NOEL Appleby as Everard Proudfoot
