Amazon would never have honoured that. I remember a couple of years ago when I tried ordering such things from both them and Play. Neither honoured it, but Play did send a £10 voucher as apology, which was very cool, I thought.

Sad,
with the transaction volume that Amazon has, they might as well have considered this as "advertising" of a sort.
Just imagine the clicks they would get from people searching for such bargains and then imagine what they might buy on this quest ...

Seriously I don't think they need to do any publicity. Anybody who buy films, discs, books, etc. know who they are and use them. They surely don't need to give stuff to be known... Sure it sucks for those who tried to "profit" of this, but an error is an error

Nah, you may hate me but your wallet doesn't. It just got lighter and who doesn't like to lose weight?  :tease:

Until now I have restrained myself to do a double-dip on this. But as this trilogy is one of my favourites I just to order it at some point. My excuse: I still have the first pressing of the DVDs where they made a wrong framing of the widescreen picture  :P (and of course as always I can blame it on Jon. Though this time around I guess it is mainly Karsten's fault  ;) ).
