Whenever Nicolas Cage is mentioned, the movie that immediately comes to my mind is David Lynch's Wild at Heart. I tend to cut him some slack just for that. Haven't seen Bad Lieutenant yet.

I've heard that Bad Lieutenant is really good...haven't seen it though.

I did like Ghost Rider overall...I know it is cheesy, but I expected that from the movie.  I just think it is entertaining.

These type of news stories really bother me. Sure some people are addicted to gaming, especially to the likes of COD or WoW. But even more people aren't and just play it casually. The people who see these stories get this idea that all gamers are violent addicts as that's how we are so often portrayed in the media  :slaphead:.
The people who claim video games make people violent should do some research. In Queenslands 'Mana Bar' which is a nightclub/ gaming bar where friends can drink and game at the same time there has not been one violent case since the bar opened. And no disorderly drunken behaviour. This is coming from a place where violent video games are mixed with alcohol. Yet all around them other bars and nightclubs are fueled with drunken bar fights every night... and they think gaming is the source of this?  ::).

Well anything at all on Today Tonight or A Current Affair is always a laugh. It still sucks that this is basically the only portrayal of gamers in mass media.

That cat one is cute...my cats like to try to squeeze into small boxes too.

That one about the WoW addict....that is a bit messed up.  I play WoW and I like it..but I'm not obsessed with it and don't feel like I have to spends hours a day playing.

There are people who play and enjoy these games without going to those..extremes.

Are you going to the Mana Bar in Melbourne when it opens?

I might go, I don't know if I will make it on opening night but I will probably check it out at one stage or another. Only problem is I don't really have anyone to go there with right now. My only other friend who is into gaming is currently in the US and will then be going to Singapore, and she won't be back in Australia until next Feb or something. So who knows.

If Robin's beaver devours six inches of wood every half hour and Jessica's beaver devours eight inches of wood every 45 minutes how much wood will I need to keep both beavers well fed all weekend long?

You really have to watch this entire video to get the full effect of how clever/funny it is. Someone obviously made this music to go with the video as it would be just too perfect otherwise, and they did a hell of a good job with the soundtrack.
