The cat talk with Emma and Kathy reminded me I hadn't posted anything from Simon's Cat. They are brilliant, very simple cartoons. All credit to Simon Tofield, he seems to be getting a fair bit of much deserved success from them. There's now a book and you can even follow his cats musings on Twitter!

This is a new one, so I haven't seen Part 2 yet...

This is his YouTube page, where you can find the older ones. Plus there's a nice website, here, as well.

My brother had bought the book of Simon's Cat. I found the book boring. Simon's Cat is much funnier animated.

When this kid kills his mother in a few years, this will be the reason why...

Cruel sods! I mean that kid looks like he'd be ok with being told he couldn't have an X-Box, but to use the box. Good grief. I have fond memories of my Dad doing the exact opposite; they bought me a tin of biscuits one year, properly sealed, brand new. But he insisted on having one, so I had to open them against my wishes... inside there was some software I'd really wanted (MicroDesign 3, living the dream in '94-ish! :P). I just asked him where were the damn biscuits!  Nah, I'm kidding, that was a special thing for me. What's that kid going to remember?

Following that video somehow led me to this...  :o

Cruel sods!
What really shows the cruelty is the fact that they are filming him opening it and keep the camera on him until he cries and leaves. Poor kid, Bastard parents.

OMG...that's horrible.  How big of an ass do you have to be to do that to your own child?

One year my mom and step dad got me a Sylvester charm for a necklace..and he wrapped it up in I don't even know how many boxes now.  But thy didn't try to make me think it was something specific like that.

I like to thin those parents bought an x-box for the kid really and wrapped it separate. My parents used to always get me the item I really wanted and hide it, so when santa had been id open my present and think they did't get something, then it would magically appear behind the sofa or in the kitchen :p

I'd like to think that too Emma but somehow I think such wasn't the case with this one. Those parents are basterds!
