My Thoughts:
I just didn't get enough of Michael Myers yet... so I went on to the next one in my collection. I liked this one a lot... is cool how it has a scene with both Jamie Lee Curtis and her mother Janet Leigh (Psycho) in it. I thought the ending on this movie was done well.... of course it makes you think that it is the end of Michael Myers... and the series of movies... but then soon after we learn better when Halloween Resurrection comes out.

My Thoughts:
Well... I figure since I went as far as the other 2 today I may as well finish them off. The first thing I must say on this one... is I hate the explanation to the end of the last movie. Of course they left their selves limited on what to do after the  way they ended the last one... so I guess I can't be too disappointed in it. But I must say I did like  how Laurie Strode kept hidden away for 3 years... by acting so out of her mind she is kept in a secure asylum.... but not really out of her mind and the whole time planning and preparing for Michaels next return... that she knew would be coming. Another thing I liked about this one was how they did the whole Reality Show via the Internet... thought that was a creative storyline for the movie. Over-all... the movie was a lot of fun... I enjoyed every minute of it.

Title: The Hamiltons

 The Hamiltons seem to be the picture-perfect American family. They are hardworking community members; giving to their local charities, attending town hall meetings and always respectful of their neighbors...except for the fact that they usually end up killing them.

My Thoughts:
This movie I am less then pleased with... it was a below average movie in my opinion... not so bad that I will never watch it again... but bad enough that it won't be watched very often. The thing about this one is it is not only very slow... but if it wasn't for a brief nude scene and a couple quick gore scenes I would have sworn I was watching an edited for TV version of the m654ovie. Seemed like for most the movie as soon as it was going to get good it cut away from the action to a new scene. I won't say here what the final twist was... but I will say it didn't feel right... that I didn't feel like it fit with the rest of the movie... so that didn't help either.

Woohoo!... and I have made it to my goal... with 11 more days to spare! So how many horror movies will I get to watch this year? I must keep going!

Didn't they previously appear together in John Carpenter's "The Fog"? Not sure right now though, if they had a scene together in that one.

My Thoughts:
The first episode of the second season... This is one of my favorite shows! This episode was a great continuation of last season's finale.

My Thoughts:
Another really good episode. It always got me how they can make something as fun as a clown be something scary to some people. They never bothered me... but I did have a friend that was terrified of clowns.

I always loved that scene in Poltergeist...


BTW, wasn't there a rumor last year they would bring out a new box for the Poltergeist films...? Was the recent release of the first film all that happened to it?

My Thoughts:
This one I liked... though it is not quite as good as I remember it being. I mostly ordered this one because I am a fan of Tony Todd... and he did a great job in this movie. Even though it is not quite as good as I remembered don't mean it isn't a good movie... I thought it was real good... well above average.... but not great. I last watched this movie back in my early 20's.... and I guess remembering back to then it possibly didn't hold up as well as it could have. Still well worth the low price I got it for.

Awesome ectoplasmic specters populate THIRTEEN GHOSTS, an effects-rampant remake of the 1960 William Castle haunted-house film from producers Gilbert Adler, Joel Silver and Robert Zemeckis, who conjured up the equally terrorific HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (1999). Tony Shalhoub as Arthur leads a cast that includes Embeth Davidtz, Matthew Lillard, Shannon Elizabeth, Rah Digga and F. Murray Abraham. The house itself is a design marvel and a mysterious puzzle-cube whose eerie corridors, sliding walls, spinning floors and phantasmic fiends may allow no escape.

My Thoughts:
This is a remake that I enjoyed... though it is so much different from the original... I personally barely see it as a remake. It is pretty cool seeing Tony Shalhoub in a role other then on Monk (or his earlier role on Wings). I thought they really did a good job on the 12 ghosts that were trapped in the house. This one has a nice amount of gore... especially for a ghost movie. So fair warning to those of you that don't like gore.

My Thoughts:
I had to watch this one... it is one of the Vampire movies I like a lot. No it is not the scariest Vampire movie out there... but for some reason I think it is a lot of fun... and for some reason I never tire of it. Of course the fact that Roddy McDowall is in it is a help. Also Amanda Bearse (the neighbor in Married... With Children) is in it as well... looking rather young which is surprising since the movie is only 2 years older then the series is. As many know... I am a huge vampire fan.. and I think Chris Sarandon did a good job at bringing the classic idea of the vampire to this movie. but at the same time thought Stephen Geoffreys (Evil Ed) did a great job for a fun vampire that gave us a few laughs. But I must admit... I have always been disappointed in Amanda Bearse's look as a vampire... first I didn't care for her with that long red wig on... then I despised the look of the "Monster" version of her Vampire. Oh well... the way I see it is if that is all I have to complain about... then so what... I will enjoy this movie for years to come.

My Thoughts:
It has been years since I saw this one... so long in fact that I forgot how much I did enjoy this movie. I personally find this one more interesting then I do horrific. It gives you a view into vampirism from the vampire's point of view. A very interesting take indeed. I enjoyed every minute of it.. the 2 hours it lasted just flew by as I watched... definitely a sign of a good movie.
