A strange question
« on: September 27, 2007, 09:30:47 PM »
A friend of mine, french speaking person, asked me this morning for titles of songs that talk about drugs.  Apparently it's a project his son got in english class at school.

If you can think of any please let me know.

We already came up with;
Cocaine
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
 :P

Puff the Magic Dragon...  ;D

Oh, and "The Drugs Don't Work" by The Verve. Then, what do you consider a drug? We could always work in "Cigarettes and Alcohol" by Oasis.  :training:

I thought Copperhead Road was about moonshine or some such

Partially, but the third verse is:

I volunteered for the Army on my birthday
They draft the white trash first,'round here anyway
I done two tours of duty in Vietnam
And I came home with a brand new plan
I take the seed from Colombia and Mexico
I plant it up the holler down Copperhead Road
Well the D.E.A.'s got a chopper in the air
I wake up screaming like I'm back over there
I learned a thing or two from ol' Charlie don't you know
You better stay away from Copperhead Road

Okay, maybe a stretch :surrender:

See your point now I've read it after hearing the song a few times.
