8. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves - The monk speaks directly to the audience at the end of the movie
9. John Belushi - Animal House - When he's being a peeping Tom he looks at the camera and wiggles his eyebrows

I'd say no. Sorry, Kathy. 

Fantasy creatures may or may not be given the power of speech or communication, but it is a contrivance by the author all the same. In other words, the communication is two-way and accepted as normal within the logic of that particular fantasy...   In the spirit of Rick's original suggestion, I think it should only be creatures that we know to be real, even if they are presented in a fantasy, or even animated, world.

And before you ask, Kathy, I'm afraid dragons aren't real, regardless of what you saw that strange night in '73.
