Name 25 movies that are not specifically musicals (musical = singing is part of the narrative, e.g. Grease) where people burst into song.

1. 13 Going On 30 (Love is a Battlefield)

Nope, not by my definition. There's a lot of singing, but the songs don't tell the story...

I was going with John Landis' definition

You also could have gone with "Jesus loves me" in the same movie.

7. How To Lose A Guy - In 10 Days (You're So Vain)

Thank you, Achim. The question was very specific and there are moments in The Blues Brothers that is traditionally musical, but nowhere near enough and even then they just feed into songs that were properly written to be songs. I can prove it. I love The Blues Brothers. I hate musicals...  ;)

I noticed in the other thread how much Ray is referred to as a musical and it is, but only in the sense it is about music and contains a lot of music performances.

What did I do? ;)

Karsten came to your defense and I merely thought about verbally agreeing with him. Or do you mean that I just kept going with the next number...?

Haven't seen it, but I am sure Ray is not a musical.
