I don't even want to do this for my list. The numbers are already scary.. Actually, the look of it is even worse, since my not-watched stuff is kept separate from the main collection, but I'm running out of not-watched space!  :bag:

As for recommendations, if the movies you listed were the ones I had to choose from, here's the first 3 I'd watch:
- Big Fish
- Road to Perdition
- Chocolat

Thanks for all the recommendations so far. :)

As for God Told Me To, all I have is a freebie version that came in the classics boxset that Total Movie gave out (40 classic movies on 20 DVDs)when you subscribe to their magazine... so can't help you there... sorry.

Of the few that I actually know, I would recommend
Big Fish

After that Little Shop of Horrors (though probably not for you as it has musical numbers in it ) and Majestic.

I still keep a spreadsheet of unwatched movies since it pre-dates both the tags and watched features of DVD Profiler.  Since I also use it to track when I finished the bonus materials and commentaries and I can group things, I've never given it up.  So I know for a fact that I have 99 unwatched items in my collection.  And I can further break that down into:

  • 2 unwatched "Kid" movies (movies specifically to watch with the kids).  They are The Jungle Book and 101 Dalmations.
  • 38 unwatched "Wife" movies/documentaries.  I break hers out separately from mine since she's not a movie person and almost never watches movies.  She watches probably 1 movie per every 100 I watch.  She'll tell me not to watch something because she really wants to see it, then it sits there for 2-3 years. For example, we still haven't watched Fiddler on the Roof and we bought that 4 years ago.
  • 25 unwatched TV seasons (or 24 plus the new Stargate SG-1 movie).  Most of these fall into the "Mark/Jennifer" category.  I'm almost caught up on my Mark only TV sets.  Also 2 of them (Lost: Season 3 and Weed: Season 1) are Blu-ray.
  • 18 unwatched HD DVDs (all "Mark" movies)
  • 16 unwatched Blu-rays (all "Mark" movies)

What is interesting is that with the exception of movies to watch with either the kids or my wife, you'll not find any unwatched "Mark" DVDs (other than TV of course).  A few months back, out of utter boredom, I decided to stop watching all HD discs and concentrate of clearing up my backlog of DVDs.  On Wednesday I watched my last DVD.  So starting this weekend, I can now dig back into my HD pile. ;D  In fact, I got a head start with the US Theatrical version of Blade Runner on HD DVD last night.

This also inspired me to put a stop to TV on DVD about a month ago and concentrate of getting caught up on my Disney Treasure tins.  I finished my last tin (Donald Vol 3) on Tuesday.  So beginning tonight, I'm back to my regular schedule of movies on weekends and TV on DVD the rest of the week.

*CLIP* ...I'm back to my regular schedule of movies on weekends and TV on DVD the rest of the week.

That is my normal schedule as well... some reason I love to watch TV Series during the week and movies during the weekend. Though I do like to start my weekend marathons on Friday. So I have 3 days of movies per week. :)

But every once in a while I will slip a movie in during the week... usually when I get a movie I am excited about and just can't wait till the weekend to see!  :P

My reason is not really much of a mystery.  As I mentioned, my wife isn't so much into movies.  So any watching I do pretty much happens after she's in bed.  On work nights, there's typically simply not enough time left over after she's gone to bed to squeeze in a movie.  Although it happens from time to time.

I'm not playing this game.
The numbers would be too scary.

For me it's the other way around. 3 hours of a TV show disc and an additional marathon posting is too much on some evenings. Then I prefer a good short 2 hour movie.

I just tried and they sure scared me...

Approx. 500 profiles in DVD Profiler are not marked as Watched. ...and more DVDs are on the way, a next order is being planned :bag:

Are we out of our minds? I sufre hope though, as sane people shouldn't do such things :hysterical:
