My Thoughts:
Audio:
NOTE: Keep in mind that I have a very old surround sound system that desperately needs replacing!
No problems what so ever that I noticed on the audio. Levels were right on... sound was clear.

Video:
NOTE: I have a TV that is less then a year old, but keep in mind all I have is a 20inch standard TV that only cost me just over $100.
Image was great as well... Crisp and clear picture. No complaints what so ever.

Extras:
I didn't watch all the extras on the disc... but I did watch some of the trailers and I watched the Deleted Scenes & Gag Reel. Pretty much as always what was deleted from the movie was no real loss. Nothing there to help understand the movie or anything... but nothing was there that would have hurt it either... so I am pretty much surprised that the scenes were deleted. Not like the movie was all that long at 96 min. The Gag Reel I really enjoyed. I have always liked Gag Reels anyway... but there was some fun stuff here... looks like they had a good time while making the movie.

Movie:
I just finished this movie... and I am still not sure what I really thought of it. I am a huge Sandra Bullock fan... she is actually the main reason I bought the movie. And she was great in it like she always is. It is a decent movie... but a strange one... it is one of those movies you must give your full attention to... I did that this time... and still not sure I understood the whole thing. I wasn't really happy with the ending either.

Over-all I am not sorry I bought it. I think it is one of those movies that I will understand more the next time I watch it... and if I understand it more that means I will more then likely enjoy it more as well. It is definitely an interesting premise... just a confusing one. And I am easily confused on this type of movie.

Missed out on this one when it played in theaters (happens more and more these days; damn, I wish I didn't have to work )

Somehow, despite your reservations and mentioning an unliked ending (I hate when that happens), you made it seem interesting. Added to my Wish List.

The cover looks awful though, despite Sandra. The original poster art was much better and also had Sandra (in a way).

Well, I must confess I had no intention of watching this movie since I read a couple of horrid reviews for it, but I must say that now I'm interested.

Achim raises a very curious matter, though. Why is it that all too often DVDs must come with the most terrible artwork they can come up with?

How on earth can we go from such an elegant design:                                   To this kind of crap:

The DVD cover is a joke. Talk about catering to a dumb audience! I don't understand the logic on this kind of thing.

Yes it definitely has an interesting storyline to it... but to me at least... it was very confusing. I would say... if possible rent it first.

As for the cover-art.... yes I do agree... but I also have a hard time complaining about a close up of the lovely Sandra Bullock.  :drooling:
