TV Schedule

Here's a silly way to waste 10 minutes, while proving how broad a collection you have! Inspired by the thread about the total running time of your collection, I realised it would be possible for some of you to run a pirate TV station.

Could you provide a full days varied broadcasting, just using your DVDs? You have to account for the types of people who might tune in, plus times they would be watching, and observe a watershed (so no porn in the afternoon!). And no faking it. This Is Spinal Tap is not a documentary, and the film Quiz Show is a film, not a quiz show. :yellowcard:

I'm looking forward to seeing Jimmy's! "No porn in the afternoon", I said, but I reckon he's scuppered until about 10pm! :tease: Even then people would phone to complain about the quality. ;) Pete has probably got a head start with all his old serials and game shows. Obviously news is impossible... is it? ??? If any of you have got DVDs of news broadcasts, I think you need to see a doctor.

Here's my attempt:

06.00    Looney Tunes
06.50    Superman and the Mole Men
07.50    Wallace and Gromit in The Wrong Trousers
08.20    Film: Over The Hedge (2006)
09.50    Learning Channel: Gladiator Games
10.40    Film: Bringing Up Baby (1938)
12.20    Can't Cook Won't Cook (Red Dwarf special)
12.50    Dad's Army
13.20    Maverick: Duel in the Sun
14.10    Film: Working Girl (1988)
16.00    Tom and Jerry
16.30    Film: Carry On Camping (1969)
18.00    Mind, Body and Kick Ass Moves
18.30    Black Books
19.00    Buffy The Vampire Slayer
19.45    The Long Way Round
20.30    Film Premiere: Die Hard 4.0 (2007)
22.40     Bones
23.35    Queen Live at Wembley Stadium
01.35    Film: The Last House on the Left (1972)
02.55    Film: Bicycle Thieves (1948)
04.25    Film: The General (1927)

Already I've fallen into the trap of assuming my audience wouldn't be clever enough to want foreign films on their main channel, so Bicycle Thieves is buried. :-[ On the other hand, I actually had a cooking show for lunch time! A celebrity special, yes, but a cooking show all the same.

11h30 Documentary time - Control Room (2004)
13h00 Somewhere in Time (1980)

Not as easy that it looks like : I don't really have kid stuff
My afternoon broadcast is clearly for the women who watch soap opera
9 o'clock is late enough to start a more oriented adult broadcast
And the real pornographic broadcast start only at midnight  ;D
