Proud Father Moment...
« on: June 06, 2008, 05:09:55 PM »
Excuse me for a moment while I stop to brag about my daughter, Brittany a little bit. Today she was recognized for Academic Excellence at her school... as she remained on Principle Roll for the entire year. So it was my pleasure to go... and finally this year I had a digital camera to take with me.

This first picture is from before she went to school this morning.

This is her in line as the 7th Grade class entered the auditorium.

Luckily I had a good view of her where she was sitting when her name was called.

...And Brittany's name was called.

Brittany getting her Medal around her neck

...Gets her certificate and turns around to us

Brittany coming back to her seat

Brittany and her best friend showing their awards (she got the same award as Brittany)

Brittany along with both of her proud Grandmothers

Anyway... it was a really nice ceremony. And afterwards I got to bring Brittany home with me to get a little head start on her summer vacation... as she has now passed the 7th grade with high honors.

Thank you both...
Yeah... I am extremely proud of her. She is doing much better in school then I ever did. I was lucky to get honor roll a couple times... and here she got principle roll every marking period this year! :)

On a side note... I just love how she has her hair so long. I always loved long. :)

Thanks everyone... She just left to spend the next full week with her grandmother for vacation! So I should have plenty of time to put towards my favorite hobby!  :tv: Well... I hope so at least... do have to take my mother to the doctor office on Wednesday.

That is great.  I completely understand, my oldest just graduated from High School and starts Purdue next fall.  Being a dad is great.
