They even throw a free episode from one of their other series! I might have to try out Wallace and Gromit in that case.. (I already have Sam & Max)

Wallace & Gromit it will be. I tried both Strong Bad, as well as Wallace & Gromit, and W&G seems more interesting to me.

Yeah, after the shooting of Winnenden the city of Nuremberg cancelled an eSport event where Counter-Strike and other games were to be played. The world's biggest weapons and arms fair in the same city and at the same time took place, though.

The killer of Winnenden (as well as the one from Erfurt a few years ago) learned to shoot in shooting clubs. But that's not a problem, because the lobby is big enough. No, the problem are these dangerous "killer games".

Shooting clubs? The guy has two hobbies: playing computer games, and guns. He kills people with guns, so the cause is obvious... the games.  :stars:

WTF?  ???

That's german logic, you don't have to understand it, we don't understand it ourselves - we apply it nonetheless.

The problem isn't the violent video game or the violent movie or Dungeons & Dragons (nobody blame it anymore ). I've watched and continue to watch violent movies, I've played a lot of violent game (anybody remember this one) and it's weird but I've not kill anyone yet...

The problem is simple, but probably too simple enough for the medias and the governements :

The parent doesn't educate their kids anymore! ::)

:stars: Makes my head spin...

On a side note, the other day I was sitting in a bar, as you do, and they had the TV switched to a sports channel. To my surprise they were showing people (Korean, I believe) Counter-Strike. On TV! Professional(...?).

That's a logic applied by most governments, not just the german one.

Kid watches TV
Kid plays video game
Kid buys guns
Kid shoots people
Get rid of tv
Get rid of games
Leave guns out

Makes perfect sense wouldn't you agree ?

I agree, Eric. And heck, bringing up the kid and education most certainly are not related with the issue at all.

But here in the UK we have very tight gun control; the average computer game player can't get his hands on a weapon, therefore any anti-social behaviour cannot be immediately blamed on his local gun club. Because there's no such thing. I suppose this is why we have such high rates of knife crime...

So I'm fascinated by the idea that such places are so taken for granted, they are no longer considered a primary influence!
