I'll try to remember to take a few.
I've mostly just been playing on my main character for the last week when I've had time to play.  She is a night elf hunter.  I also have a night elf death knight that is level 80...I've done a few dailies on her, but letting her rest bonus build up now.

I also have some lower level characters I've been working on..a human warlock that is 46 or 47 and a gnome mage that is level 20 are the other 2 I've been working on the most recently.

I got my main character up to 83 last night.  I was tempted to play a little longer, but I knew I had to get up earlier today...off to work soon.  So I controlled myself. lol

Still making progress at least.

With my new video card wrapped and under the Christmas tree I've been wanting to get more into PC gaming, so I opened up Steam which I haven't done in ages and downloaded a few games. So far I have download mainly small games that wouldn't even matter if I had the video card or not, but I will get some big ones eventually.

I got:

Super Meat Boy
Plants Vs Zombies (GOTY Edition)
World of Goo (I wanted to try this on PC rather than Wii)
Dues Ex (GOTY Edition)
Dues Ex: Invisible War.

I am thinking of getting Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Is this one any good?

Lara Croft... I played the demo of that I think. Not great, but different. They tried a new perspective on the game play.

You should try Machinarium. Wonderful little game. Very simple design, but looks gorgeous nonetheless and the puzzles are ingenious.

According to Steam I played over 6 hours of Plants Vs Zombies yesterday.
That sounds about right, that game is bloody addictive!

I'll keep Machinarium in mind, at the moment though I am trying to only buy things on sale. Until Jan 2nd they are having different games on sale each day. That's why I asked about the Lara Croft game. It's on sale today.

Careful of those sales. They are dangerous! I got Just Cause 2 for 4.99 last week.

Actually though, if you do see something you'd like but know your hardware wouldn't stand a chance yet, bear in mind you can still get it and refuse the install. It'll sit in your library just the same. Just for the best offers though that would be silly to ignore.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. If I buy them now I can install them after the new video drive is in. Some of the prices on these sales are insane!

Machinarium is included in this bundle here: http://www.humblebundle.com/
Which is the best possible deal! You pay whatever you want and get 5 games! Machinarium and Braid being both awesome games. The 3 others are just icing.

And they send you a code to activate it on Steam.

Braid looks like it's picked up where a brilliant game called The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom left off. I must get back into that. I only played a couple of levels, but really liked it.

Sorry if your wishlist is going a bit nuts, Sophie!

Haha it's okay. I feel like spending a bit of money anyway.

By the way how many people here actually have Steam accounts? I would like to add some more friends. So far I only have one guy from my archery club.

Oh, that old excuse? "Yeah, I really want to be your friend, but... I just can't" :tease:

Open Steam, click Friends and Change Profile Name. That's the quickest way to see the current one.
