I bought the 1st season yesterday for less than 20$.  This is a blind buy, I know nothing of this series.  What can you tell me without spoilers?

Hmm... that was a good deal. I'm really not into TV series at all, which is the reason you never see me posting here. However, I do remember watching an episode of Millenium years ago and thinking it was kind of creepy. Can't really remember a lot of details about it, but I know it has Lance Henriksen as some sort of psychic investigator who can see through the eyes of serial killers, rapists, murderers, maniacs and all kinds of that nice, happy people.

The episode I remember watching had more of a supernatural angle to it, don't know if this was occasional or a continuing plot device.

It's a great series from the creator of The X-Files. There is even a Millennium episode in the X-Files.. that takes place after the end of the series.

It has been a really long time since I watched these (I have all 3 seasons).... but I don't think that the main character (Frank Black played by Lance Henrickson) actually "sees" through the serial killer's eyes. I can't swear to it... but think it is more that he could get into their minds... see their line of thinking... or something like that. As I said... I could be wrong though... haven't watched the episodes in years.

I seem to remember the key to it is that he investigates the nice people Sailor listed, but in connection with the end of the world prophecies. I think his trick was he was psychic or something, ex-FBI, kind of like the man Mulder might become.

The sad thing was the show got cancelled before it could complete the arc. Wasn't there going to be some trick where the final episode would air New Years Eve 1999? Instead they did the -very good- X-Files episode to tidy it up a bit.

Great show, I liked it.
