I REALLY don't mean to be a party booper and I really didn't want to post this, but beginning from today, I won't be able to keep track of the Horror Mansion Game any longer. This is mainly because my work schedule will raise considerably plus I just got a new project that needs to be started right away. I will keep posting and submitting articles for the site, but the game can be a little time-consuming in terms of organizing so I didn't seem to have much of a choice. I apologize to you all.

However, feel free to keep on playing! If anyone wants to host, please do PM me about any questions you might have.

Again, my apologies.

To tell you the truth, this game is turning to be much longer than I expected.  I'm kind of running out of time also and I would prefer using it to write stuff about collecting DVD's insteand of playing games.

Sailor and I were talking (in the chat room) about how we could speed things up a bit. Don't give up yet. I just received the file from Sailor. Let me go through it and see where we are. I'll post another update as soon as I can.

Due to outside influences (  ?? ) we have a new game host. The Lovable dog who couldn't swim has been changed by her experiences in the mansion. She is now ready to step up and help finish this game.....

I believe I have everyone figured out. IF I HAVE MISSED SOMETHING PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO WE CAN CONTINUE.

Jon, having walked right through Samara's maze, is currently sitting on the front lawn. Having just finished his Pork Pie he has stretched out to relax in the sun. He could go get help so the others can escape without harm but so far Samara has done a fine job making sure nobody is harmed all on her own. 


Status: Except for the ants eating the crumbs Jon is Safe

James, having survived his encounter with Samara has received his key and has chosen to move to The Guest Room where he will grab a bit of shut eye no doubt. Unfortunately, when he arrived at the room he found it locked! Fortunately for him he has recently received a key that will allow him to enter.

Status: Safe

PM has been sent to confirm his location

Kathy, who has yet to encounter our Killer in a one to one duel has decided to visit The Children's Room. Seemingly she too would like to take a quick nap. She has found the room locked and has been forced to use her key to open it. To her surprise, when she enters the room she finds she cannot rest as she is transported to the next set of rooms. Once she re-materializes in her new room she will be safe.


Status: Safe

PM has been sent to confirm her location and to see where she will be materializing.

Achim has managed to tip toe his way through the mansion all the way to Mother's Room. He is so close he can smell Jon's Pork Pie from outside... or is that Mother again    Can he get passed Mother and her tricks? We shall soon see.

PM has been sent to confirm Achim's location. Once confirmed I will get the questions to him (mainly because I have to figure some out first)

That leaves us with Eric who has recently expressed his view that the game has gone on longer than he expected. He has chosen to move to The Secret Stairs Eric may be able to leave the game very soon as Samara has also decided to head to the Secret Stairs.

Their locations have been confirmed. I am awaiting Samara's decision on how she plans to attack.

In a quick turn of events Samara has attacked our founder Eric with the following question.

Kathy has re-materialised in the Game Room. Unfortunately she has entered into a room that is locked. She is instantaneously transported back to where she came from, the Children's Room. Since this has all happened in the same turn she is still safe from Samara.

I've been thinking about this.  Maybe we should change the rule to allow players to fight back with a trivia question of their own. 

Samara meets player.

Player answers correctly
Player asks question.
If samara answers correctly then
   game continues
else
   game ends
   Player becomes the winner of the game
   Player gets to the Horror Mansion Hall of Fame

Also, you said earlier that you should just "kill the bitch"? That would be unethical. After all, she hasn't caused anyone any harm, so why hurt her?
