FWIW? Tried - can't figure it out. Hey - don't laugh - if I posted some of the acronyms we use in the hospital you'ld be scratching your head too!

Google is your friend! There are tons of acronym finder sites.

Kathy, here's a fairly complete list of internet slang.

And since you seem to be feeling a bit let down, I'm awarding you a point for your perseverance, and I'll even add that I keep referring to that list every once in a while!  ;D

I've been playing around and must have changed something: How do I stop dvdcollectorsonline from sending me emails letting me know someone has posted a reply?

I received an email puzzler that I want to share; I've tried "hosting it" but the image is too small. I have tried resizing it but when I post it the image remains the same size. How can I take an image and enlarge it?

Not necessary a stupid question, but I don't see the point of creating a new topic for asking it

I know that I can ask this on the other forum, but I already know what kind of answer I would receive  :readthis:

Is it possible to create a profile like this for this genre of set that I will order soon ?

Main profile (the set with the UPC)
Disc #1 (manual profile)
Side A (film #1 - using disc ID)
Side A (film #2 - using disc ID)
Side B (film #1 - using disc ID)
Side B (film #2 - using disc ID)

And the same with all the 12 disc on the set.

That will result as a boxset like this :
Main Profile (UPC) ---- 12 child profiles (manual) ---- 48 child child profiles (disc ID)

Sound complicated but I want each movie to have a profile.

Actually, I think what you will have to do is:

Main profile (the set with the UPC)
Disc #1 - Side #A (using Disc-ID)
film #1 - manual)
film #2 - manual)
Disc #1 - Side #B (using Disc-ID)
film #1 - manual)
film #2 - manual)
Disc #2 - Side #A (using Disc-ID)
film #1 - manual)
film #2 - manual)
Disc #2 - Side #B (using Disc-ID)
film #1 - manual)
film #2 - manual)
etc
etc
etc

So 1 main profile (UPC) - 24 sides (12 disc x 2 sides) (by Disc-ID) - 50 movie profiles (manual)

You don't even have to ask yourself over there. It actually got asked recently. I don't know if that thread contains any useful information though

You're right it looks more logic this way, I'm not even sure if it's possible to use the same disc ID two times. Usually I would have use the regular way with the divider but since there are no extra, I've decide to try to profile the movies and not the dvd (to me:redcard: this isn't movie profiler this is dvd profiler  :readthis:)

It's been a while since the last time I asked a stupid one (probably a record of reviving an old thread )
Anyway this is my question.

If I want to link a film trailer from Youtube to play in my online database (not a link to it). What part of the youtube link I must write in the note section (I guess it's the place to do it ) for this to works? Not as important but it would be cool too if I was able to do the same in DVDP...
