Who's this composer.

Easy, I give hints until somebody find who's the composer, the "winner" starts the next run.

European, Oscar Winner, he composed the score for 39 movies.

So.. ok, composers.

This fellow is usually known for his very quirky scores although he has tackled serious dramas as well. He used to be the leader and vocalist of a very weird but fun rock band, very hip in the 80's. His brother is a film director.

Wow, I thought I'd be good with composers but...  :surrender:

That's almost to the level of that quiz show we had here in Quebec a while ago that would get the ultimate Elvis specialist (for example), and then start this big story about how Elvis stayed at this or that hotel, and what not, and the question would end up being "what shoe size did Elvis' hair stylist used to wear?"*  :stars:


* It's exaggerated, but you get the idea. I'm sure Touti might actually remember what show I'm talking about..

Oooops, I had forgotten about this! My apologies.

Alright, here's a couple of hints.

This dude is married to Bridget Fonda (lucky bastard) and this is what he had to say about director Sam Raimi in in 2005: "As far as I’m concerned, he went to sleep and somebody put a pod next to him and when he awoke, he wasn’t the same person I’ve known for a decade. He went from [being] number 2 on my list of favorite directors, to the last – to the exact opposite of everything I look for in a film experience. It’s the first time I’ve ever walked from a director in twenty years, and hopefully the last time. He became intolerable. I’ve been on some heavy duty films, so to say that it had to be pretty bad. I have been in war zones you wouldn’t believe in 55 films. But this is the first time I’ve said, 'I’ve had it. It’s just not worth it. I would rather go back to waiting tables'. He scored 5 films directed by Raimi.
