Awake
Donkey Punch
Mirrors
The Oxford Murders
Outlander

Haven't seen any yet, but these are the ones I've heard about.

Awake... if that's the one with Hayden Christensen and Jessica Alba, I've yet to hear a single positive word.

Donkey Punch I've just been reading about in Empire. British and sounds like Shallow Grave to me, but I have a feeling it will be rubbish. If you don't know what the title means, I suggest you Google it as it forms the basis of the plot.

Mirrors we've been discussing elsewhere and I really fancy it. Initially it was a remake of a Korean film, but in fact the director Alexandre Aja has said he's taking it in an entirely different direction. He previously made the Hills Have Eyes remake which I thought was great and very inventive.

The Oxford Murders I thought sounded like a really classy old fashioned whodunnit, but reviews suggest it doesn't come off and the average TV detective is better. That said, I think we in the UK have a monopoly on classy TV detectives, so maybe it's very good and we're just spoiled! Same thing happened with March of the Penguins; while the US thought it was wonderful, we dismissed it as David Attenborough outtakes... ;)

Outlander has to be rubbish. It's natural law that a story about a spaceman landing on Earth during the time of the Vikings has to be shit. But I bet it's great fun!

I've seen Donkey Punch, and I thought that it was bad, 3/10 bad. My biggest complaint is that it tried too hard and most of the cast just weren't up to the job.

Outlander - The trailer for this looks awesome and I really want to watch it. I kinda get the feeling it's a twist on the Beowolf & Grendel legend, but looks as though it's going to be a lot of fun.

Thanks for the input so far! I will have to put down some movies I'd like to watch and then also have to coordinate with others, in which movies we will go.
When it is time I will probably make a marathon thread out of it.
