Advice on a DVD Recorder
« on: June 27, 2007, 02:08:56 AM »
My Dad wants to get a new DVD player. He also wants one that he can make his own DVDs on.

It has to be VERY user friendly  ;)

He would like to use it to record shows from his DVRs as well as transfer some old VHS tapes to DVD

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.  ;D

I'm afraid you'll be the 1st to get one on this forum.

Edit: But if you want to visit a good forum to ask around and check what people have to say about theirs, I strongly recommende Digital Home Canada (http://www.digitalhome.ca)

Rick,

The only unit I remeber seeing was by GoVideo. There was a unit that the mass markets was carrying that would record to DVD-R or VCR. Haven't really been looking so haven't noticed what, if any are currently available.
