Ghost Whisperer: The Third Season: Disc 2
4. No Safe Place
Original Airdate 10/19/2007
Jim and Melinda meet a lawyer who claims he was stalked by an office intern. But when Melinda meets the intern's ghost, she discovers it was the other way around.
My Thoughts:
This is another excellent episode! This is the 3rd time I seen these episodes now... and this one still had me glued to my seat. Of course once meeting Melinda his obsession focuses on her. But who could blame someone being attracted to the beauty of Jennifer Love Hewitt.
My Ratings:
5. Weight of What Was
Original Airdate 10/26/2007
Melinda is convinced that Gabriel is her half-brother, and meets a new ghost who could be his mother. Later, she learns more about the haunted underground city.
My Thoughts:
Another good episode. This one brings the season long arc a little further. Amy Acker guest stars as a ghost... which is pretty cool to see her.
My Ratings:
6. Double Exposure
Original Airdate 11/02/2007
Rick Payne's pretty associate at school is an expert on photography, but her image is disappearing from photos. Meanwhile, Jim considers medical school.
My Thoughts:
Not bad... really kind of an average episode. A decent story... just nothing to really get excited about. Though it was pretty cool to see Victoria Pratt (
Mutant X, Cleopatra 2525
) in this episode.

Ghost Whisperer: The Third Season: Disc 3
7. Unhappy Medium
Original Airdate 11/09/2007
There's another psychic in town, a well-known author full of parlor tricks. But when a young socialite goes missing, he teams up with Melinda to find her.
My Thoughts:
Definitely an entertaining episode. It is a good story. I liked how Melinda is thrown together to work with this other "Psychic."
My Ratings:
8. Bad Blood
Original Airdate 11/16/2007
Delia sells a house to a father and daughter who harbor a dark secret, and who are haunted by a pair of mischievous ghosts who won't cross over.
My Thoughts:
Another really good episode. One I enjoyed every minute of. I liked the whole storyline. Especially the ghosts that were controlling the guy and his daughter.
My Ratings:
9. All Ghosts Lead to Grandview
Original Airdate 11/23/2007
While camping, Jim and Melinda encounter a young girl living in the woods. After they bring her home, Melinda discovers she can also see ghosts.
My Thoughts:
Another episode I enjoyed. I liked how Melinda took the young girl under her wing and tried to teach her about ghosts and how to help them. I also liked the flashback to Melinda's childhood where her grandmother was teaching her about ghosts in the hospital.
My Ratings:
10. Holiday Spirit
Original Airdate 12/14/2007
A ghost who haunts a family thinks he is Santa Claus, and keeps Melinda from her family and friends during the Christmas holidays.
My Thoughts:
What you know... a Christmas episode. It is a good one. She has a ghost who thinks he is Santa and a boy that wants his workaholic father and his mother back together to deal with. I can see myself watching this episode every year around Christmas time.

11. Slam
Original Airtime 01/11/2008
Delia brings Melinda to her son Ned's basketball game, where they witness a ghost haunting the school - and learn of a website where kids post cruel messages.
My Thoughts:
This is a good episode. I liked the characters... the story is good.
My Ratings:
12. First Do No Harm
Original Airdate 01/18/2008
At first, Melinda believes that Jim is being haunted by the victim of a gas explosion. But later she learns it is really a doctor the ghost is after.
My Thoughts:
This episode is alright.... but not as good as most the episodes. The main story was interesting... the side story not so much.
My Ratings:
13. Home But Not Alone
Original Airdate 04/04/2008
Delia becomes anxious when it looks like Ned has a girlfriend. And it doesn't help that the girl and her siblings are being haunted by their dead father.
My Thoughts:
This is an excellent episode. It is one of my favorites of the season. I liked all the characters and the storyline.
My Ratings:
14. The Gravesitter
Original Airdate 04/11/2008
After her shop is sprayed with graffiti, Melinda accuses the town blogger of trying to expose her. But then she realizes that he is the one keeping secrets.
My Thoughts:

Ghost Whisperer: The Third Season: Disc 5
15. Horror Show
Original Airdate 04/25/2008
Rick tries to help his mentor's daughter, who is being haunted by the ghost of a film director who scares her with scenes from classic horror films.
My Thoughts:
This is one of my favorite episode. I love all the horror movie references in it!
My Ratings:
16. Deadbeat Dads
Original Airdate 05/02/2008)
When it appears that Rick may have fathered a son with an old girlfriend, his ex-wife's ghost has a fit. Meanwhile, Jim pressures Melinda to have a baby.
My Thoughts:
This is a good episode... not only does it have a decent storyline that showcases Professor Payne's character. But it also brings our season long arc a bit further as well. But that is to be expected since there is only 2 more episodes after this one for the season.
My Ratings:
17. Stranglehold
Original Airdate 05/12/2008
The search for her presumed-dead father leads Melinda to one of his old court cases. Later, her dad mysteriously shows up in Grandview, very much alive.
My Thoughts:
This one is pretty good... the beginning of the end of the season long arc. But really is just a standard episode.
My Ratings:
18. Pater Familias
Original Airdate 05/19/2008
Melinda finally learns the truth from her father about his disappearance. But then her mother reveals her side of the story, divulging a shocking secret.
My Thoughts:
Actually I found this season to have a bit of a weak season finale. I mean everything tied up well... but I never cared too much about the season long arc. And the end cliffhanger wasn't that great either. But it is an entertaining average episode.

Ghost Whisperer: The Fourth Season: Disc 1
1. FIRESTARTER
Original Airdate 10/3/2008
When a fire breaks out at Rockland University, Jim saves a young psychology professor, eli, who suffers a near death experience. Melinda befriends him and soon realizes they share the same ability.
My Thoughts:
This is an excellent start to the new season. It introduces a new main character while saying goodbye to another. And it has a very good storyline.
My Ratings:
2. BIG CHILL
Original Airdate 10/10/2008
Melinda reconnects with some high school classmates after one of them dies mysteriously.
My Thoughts:
Another excellent episode. This one basically steals the storyline of the movie that Jennifer Love Hewitt did...
I Know What You Did Last Summer
. But they did a good job in converting it to an episode and making it about a ghost instead of a killer.
My Ratings:
3. GHOST IN THE MACHINE
Original Airdate 10/17/2008
When Ned shows Melinda his online gaming community, Melinda discovers a ghost is haunting the game.
My Thoughts:
This is a very good episode. But at the same time it is a little different. Since there is a couple scenes of Melinda psychicly in a gaming community they were able to change her look quite a bit a couple times... as they had her dressed up to look like her avatar. But why they insisted to put her in short hair in these scenes is beyond me. Maybe it is just me... but I always thought women looked much sexier with long hair. So this episode has some fun scenes with her inside the game. But it also has a good storyline for the ghost she was helping.
My Ratings:
4. SAVE OUR SOULS
Original Airdate 10/24/2008
Melinda and Jim go away on a romantic cruise, and Melinda comes into contact with an angry ghost who haunts a newlywed couple.
My Thoughts:
Another episode I enjoyed quite a bit. I liked that this one had a large variety of ghosts.

Ghost Whisperer: The Fourth Season: Disc 2
5. BLOODLINE
Original Airdate 10/31/2008
Melinda investigates the death of a highschool athlete whose ghost is following a family that is not her own.
My Thoughts:
This one has a decent storyline... but felt it moved a bit too slow for my taste.
My Ratings:
6. IMAGINARY FRIENDS AND ENEMIES
Original Airdate 11/7/2008
Melinda plays a game of hide-and-seek when a child's make-believe friend causes havok during a wedding party and she attempts to calm the ghost running amok.
My Thoughts:
The episode itself is pretty good. The main storyline entertaining but nothing special. But the big surprise ending this one has was enough to make it jump up one more in the rating.
My Ratings:
7. THRESHOLD
Original Airdate 11/14/2008
While coping with dramatic changes in her personal life, Melinda struggles with helping a desperate teenage ghost because she no longer feels that her gift of talking to the dead is helpful.
My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this one. It is a good story with a lot of touching moments.
My Ratings:
8. HEART & SOUL
Original Airdate 11/21/2008
Melinda is drawn to a man who is suffering from amnesia and enthusiastically tries to help him gain his memory.
My Thoughts:
A good episode... but not a great one. I just don't care for the new season long storyline with Jim in season four. I do think it is a storyline that begged to be told... but I just don't think it was handled correctly.

Ghost Whisperer: The Fourth Season: Disc 3
9. PIECES OF YOU
Original Airdate 12/5/2008
Melinda tracks down a girl who has been missing for twelve years and discovers a long-held secret.
My Thoughts:
I enjoyed every second of this episode. It has a great storyline. I even found I enjoyed the side storyline with Jim better in this episode.
My Ratings:
10. BALL AND CHAIN
Original Airdate 12/19/2008
Melinda assists a ghost who must face hard facts about her marriage.
My Thoughts:
Another good episode... but not quite as good as the previous one. It has a decent storyline. This one don't hit that much on the Jim storyline... though it does touch on it a little.
My Ratings:
11. LIFE ON THE LINE
Original Airdate 1/9/2009
Melinda helps a family in turmoil after a freak accident. Meanwhile Delia has her first haunting and discovers why it is sometimes easier to be a skeptic then a believer.
My Thoughts:
A good episode... but not as great as some of the previous ones. Jim is getting some of his memories back at this point which is more confusing him then anything else.Rating this one I wasn't sure if I wanted to go with a
or a
... it is really on the borderline between the two.
My Ratings:
12. THIS JOINT'S HAUNTED
Original Airdate 1/16/2009
Melinda and Sam go on a road trio into his past and end up in trouble, from bar fights to disruptive ghosts, and Melinda comes face-to-face with the biggest threat yet to her romantic hopes.
My Thoughts:
This one hugely advances the Jim storyline... as well as has Delia... with the help of Eli... confronting a ghost from her past. It is godd episode... but not quite as good as the previous several. I really found myself more interested in the Delia storyline then I was in the Jim storyline.
My Ratings:

Ghost Whisperer: The Fourth Season: Disc 4
13. BODY OF WATER
Original Airdate 1/23/2009
Melinda confronts a crisis that grips the whole town — the unearthing of a grave that leads to a mass haunting. But that's not nearly as scary to her as the woman who shows up to accept the engagement ring Sam bought for her.
My Thoughts:
This is a good episode that advances the season long arc nicely. This is an episode with an eerie feel to it. At this point though... I will be glad when they finish up with the Jim storyline. It is starting to be dragged out a little too long, IMO.
My Ratings:
14. SLOW BURN
Original Airdate 2/6/2009
While Melinda assists the ghost of a domineering mother who is hiding a dark secret, she tries to date Sam without revealing her gift for seeing ghosts.
My Thoughts:
A decent episode... but not as good as the previous several. Actually I found it to be more on the slow side then anything else. And still impatiently waiting for the Jim storyline to be over.
My Ratings:
15. GREEK TRAGEDY
Original Airdate 2/13/2009
When a sorority pledge goes missing in the woods, Melinda and Eli discover the ghost who lead her there. Sam begins to question his relationship with Melinda.
My Thoughts:
A good episode with an interesting storyline. It kept me glued to the screen from beginning to end. Despite enjoying this one so much... I am really tiring of the whole Jim storyline. But think there is still a handful of episodes dealing with it yet to come.
My Ratings:
16. GHOST BUSTED
Original Airdate 2/27/2009
Melinda shares her special gift with Sam and his reaction is not what she expects.
My Thoughts:
Another good episode. I do find it a bit strange the the back cover plot (see above) gives the discription of the side story... and don't even touch the main storyline of a ghost hunter showing up on town. I enjoyed it though. I liked all the electronic gadgets the ghost hunter used. And I thought the reason the ghost was haunting in this episode was a good one too. So this episode has a little fun in it as well as a touching moment or two.

Ghost Whisperer: The Fourth Season: Disc 5
17. DELUSIONS OF GRANDVIEW
Original Airdate 3/6/2009
When Melinda shares some devistating news with Sam, their relationship is left in limbo.
My Thoughts:
This is an episode I enjoyed quite a bit. Once again the plot on the box don't touch on anything that the main storyline is about. Which is a good one as she goes into a building that used to be an insane asylum and the building, now a school for young kids, still has ghosts of some of the patients from the asylum. Plus this one has a bit of a sad ending.
My Ratings:
18. LEAP OF FAITH
Original Airdate 3/13/2009
After Melinda encounters a man in her basement who has the same condition as Sam, she helps them both reconcile their new lives with their old ones.
My Thoughts:
This is a pretty good episode, though not quite as good as the previous. The one thing I am happy about is that the stupid storyline involving Jim is now pretty much over. FINALLY!
My Ratings:
19. THRILLED TO DEATH
Original Airdate 4/10/2009
Melinda and Eli help a ghost settle his unfinished business with a mysterious young woman who may be involved in the death of a man.
My Thoughts:
Not a bad episode... actually pretty good. But I just couldn't get myself to care about the characters in this one.
My Ratings:
20. STAGE FRIGHT
Original Airdate 4/24/2009
A soap opera "remote" shoot descends on Grandview, turning the town upside down: Melinda unearths a story as soapy as the show it's disrupting. Also a miraculous turn in Melinda's life changes everything for her and Jim.
My Thoughts:
Not a bad episode... but once again not as good as most. Once again I just felt I didn't care about the characters. Though it does end on a nice bit of information.
My Ratings:

My Thoughts:

My Ratings:
22. ENDLESS LOVE
Original Airdate 3/13/2009
Melinda prepares for her wedding and helps a girl who believes she is being lured by vampires.
My Thoughts:
A ghost that pretends to be a vampire... how couldn't I enjoy this episode. A right good storyline and likable characters.
My Ratings:
23. THE BOOK OF CHANGES
Original Airdate 4/10/2009
Melinda worries for her unborn child when she experiences a visit from a ghost.
My Thoughts:
Enjoyed this one quite a bit. It is a good ending to this season. Plus it leaves plenty open for the next season as well. more info on The Book of Changes and of course Melinda's unborn child is plenty to look forward to for the fifth and final season.

Ghost Whisperer: The Final Season: Disc 1
1. BIRTHDAY PRESENCE
Original Airdate 9/25/2009
Melinda's life changes dramatically when she gives birth to a son who possesses a psychic ability that gives him a unique connection to the supernatural.
My Thoughts:
This is an excellent start to the new season. It starts off shortly after the season 4 lets off... and we see Melinda giving birth. But right after that we fast forward to five years later... on Aiden's 5th birthday. Jim is now a doctor... which opens up a reason for Melinda to spend much more time there... a place that is always full of ghosts. I will admit I was concerned when I first learned they were adding a kid into the mix. But I must say... I found it worked well. I liked the addition.
My Ratings:
2. SEE NO EVIL
Original Airdate 10/2/2009
Melinda investigates an ominous email chain letter that threatens to bring death to anyone who breaks it.
My Thoughts:
Another episode I liked quite a bit. I thought the email chain letter they came up with was right cool. And they also bring in a couple recurring characters for at least the first part of the season.
My Ratings:
3. TILL DEATH DO US START
Original Airdate 10/9/2009
Melinda is caught up in a family conflict in two worlds when a deceased mother enlists her help to make peace with her still-living husband.
My Thoughts:
Enjoyed this one quite a bit. It gives us a bit of a look into Eli's past as it deals with his parents.
My Ratings:
4. DO OVER
Original Airdate 10/16/2009
When a ghost haunts a hospital morgue, Melinda must uncover the dramatic secret behind an old operation that took place forty years earlier.
My Thoughts:
This episode has some creepy type hauntings in the hospital. So obviously I enjoyed it. This one has Mike Farrel (M*A*S*H) guest starring. Good storyline, likable characters and some more hints that there will be more episodes dealt with in the hospital.
