But then it's technically not a "completed series". ;)

Has this show been cancelled or ended naturally?

According to Wikipedia
Quote
Writer and co-creator Scott Peters announced on December 18, 2007 that due partly to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike, budgetary problems, and lower-than-anticipated ratings, The 4400 had been canceled and would not be returning for fifth season.

I cannot tell though, if there is a conclusion to the series with the final episode of this season, because I haven't seen it yet. Is anyone here who has seen it? Without spoiler, is the ending satisfactory?
