And the clear data not clearing the location bar... actually it does. What it keeps showing you, is your bookmark (they probably have the Yellow star icon)

Ahh...  Thanks, I didn't realize that.

Like I said, I'll give it a few more days and maybe try a couple of those extensions.  But I'm really not liking it at this point, so I'm not so sure how long it will last.
